I am very amazed by the overall quality of the product. Easy to assemble and compact, light and a delight to carry on trips. I will buy more from this store and from same brand because of great quality.

At this price, This is the best thing as could be. I only sees the moon first. its a little shaky. Big size lense was good. But small lense was best. Moon's crater can be seen very zoomly. I was surprised. I was reading reviews for this telescope. After very research on internet i buy this product. Packaging was very good, i can say the best. Assembling it was also quite easy. You cannot see star perfectly cause they are so far. But moon can be seen very nicely. The problem is only that because of its bit shaky nature you have to work hard a little. There were clouds around the moon in the sky. But when it came out of clouds it was a light bulb, so beautiful. I was thinking to watch. Best buy. I surely recommend this. Just remember one thing that dont expect too much as hubble telescope.

I bought two of the BARSKA Starwatcher 400x70mm telescopes for my two grandsons. Their faces lit up when they opened them - boys love their toys. It was fairly easy to set up, and we are planning to do some daytime field scoping to practice using them, before using them at night to look at the moon and stars. These were well worth the money for a beginner telescope, since you do get a table top tripod with it. You can always purchase an inexpensive larger camera tripod later. I also got The Everything Kids' Astronomy Book for each of them. I liked what I saw in the book, but haven't heard from the boys what they think. I thought it would be good to have some type of easy to read reference for them.
