Outdoor Antenna Ant-850 HDTV Outdoor-Motorized Rotating with Remote, HD VHF/UHF/FM TV Antenna

This antenna has been a bit of a disappointment. Besides the fact that the seller was non-existent when I had questions about the product, the product itself was a hot mess. We received an antenna that is completely different that the antenna that is portrayed on the box or on the instructions. The item cam with a list of parts that are supposed to be in the box and that was our first clue that something was wrong. Hoping that they upgraded the product but hadn’t gotten around to upgrading the product information or instructions, we descried to try to put it together anyways. We ended up with some thing that closely resembled the antenna on the picture but was definitely NOT the same product. Once we got our version of the antenna together we put it on the roof, but have had the worst reception. We did all the research, made sure it was pointed the correct direction, we were searching the right channels and it only brought up crap stuff. From asking around, everyone says that it’s the antenna’s strength, which is making it not tune in the major channels.**I received this product at a discounted rate in exchange for my honest, unbiased review. This item arrived broken. Neither the shipping box nor the item box itself were damaged, so the damage had to have come from the factory. I don't know how "good" antennas are constructed compared to "cheap" ones, but I can say the antenna is plastic and aluminum and looked cheap to me. Even the instructions were printed on thin "newspaper" type paper. The instructions weren't helpful for someone like me if I wanted to build it out of the box. My husband figured it out, but if there's a single lady, if she's not technically inclined, she may struggle with putting this together. On fig 1 in the instructions one of the words is in Spanish & everything else is in English. I speak Spanish, so it's OK, but for those who don't? I wish I could have tried it, because we're in the market for an exterior antenna. I can't speak for the functionality, since it's broken, but I'm giving it 1 star based solely on construction and being broken upon arrival. ***I received this item in exchange for an honest and unbiased review***

I was looking for a good outdoor antenna, and this came across my path. I was excited to receive it. It was missing two of the Dipoles for VHF, and looking at other's pictures, theirs were too, but the directions and antenna frame says four when only two came. The antenna is plastic and feels cheap. the main housing of the unit does not look like it would withstand weather. As for the two missing parts or cheap directions, there is no tech support from the manufacture. I have had other antennas in the past that were better quality for the same amount, but left them at previous residences. I would not purchase again.

I got no channels before now I get about 15 and I have it in my attic. It would probably work better outside but I didn't want it on my roof. Good product for a fair price. I did receive the product at a discount in exchange for an honest review.
