Super Scratch Art Pads: Mythical Creatures

Just finished a scratch art book so was excited to start this one. However, I'm very disappointed! Not only is it ridiculously hard to scratch to the point you're hurting your hand doing it plus worrying about poking through the page, but there's no detail!! The leaves I've been scratching out are stupid as there is no detail, they're not leaves, just all one rippled colour so I'm worried that the whole page is going to be the same colour and you won't even see the wolf! Waste of money this book is and I don't recommend it at all. It's nothing like the scratch book I've finished which was so detailed, they turned out beautiful. This one however, is dull and all one colour so far with no detail at all so pointless making the pages detailed as when you scratch them, none of that detail is there! Whoever created this was pretty lazy in my opinion. Don't buy it unless you want to kill your hand off scratching the black off as it's very very difficult and you have to scratch so hard! I will probably just ditch this book once I've finished the first page just to see what it's like and I'll update this review when I've finished just to show you what you're buying. But so far, NOT GOOD!

Very pleased with the designs of this book which will keep me busy for hours, however upon arrival and opening the plastic packaging that the book is enclosed in, I flicked through and noticed small scratches on several of the pages. No big deal if they were workable with the designs but one or two are very big which can not be incorporated within the designs :( Would have given 5 stars if not for the scratches.

Picked up this little hobby during lockdown and it is a really fun way to pass time. This particular book is the best, super detailed intricate designs which are very unique and interesting to look at. The underlying colours revealed when scratched are also very beautiful. Couldn’t be more pleased.

You have 14 pictures to do in this book. It is very easy to scratch it and my son loves it.I have just one thing that bothers me - you can't be very precise with the tool given together with the book. And the cratching layer is quite dry so when you try to scrtach it sometimes you take off much more then you would like to and the lines are not even. However, apart from this it is a great fun to make all this pictures.

Greet idea, nice colourful images and easy to use. Keeps my elderly mother occupied for hours
