don't buy this flour
It's not often that I write a negative review but I had to speak up about this flour. I've been baking my own bread for 20 years and I'm well aware that different flours produce different results. Amount of water needs to be adjusted, rising time, etc. But this flour will not produce a proper rising no matter what I do. It's from India, which I hadn't noticed when I ordered it. I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it but I ended up throwing eight pounds of it away--it was that bad. Beware.

NOT FOR BREADMAKING!
As another reviewer reported, I could not get bread to rise with this flour, despite multiple recipe changes and other troubleshooting. I’ve followed the good advice and have thrown it out.
