BM Premium (2 Pack NB-10L Battery for Canon PowerShot G1 X, G3-X, G15, G16, SX40 HS, SX50 HS, SX60 HS Digital Camera

These work well in my Canon PowerShot SX-50. They fit the camera well and have good battery life. They charge as fast as the Canon battery. No complaints.

UPDATE: Dec. 2025 I have lost count of how many cycles I've gotten out of these batteries, but I have to say, it's been four years of service. I have upgraded to Five stars. Initially I rated Four stars because one of them went bad soon after purchase. It was replaced no charge, and ever since then both have provided great performance. HIGHLY recommended. I am ordering two more. Initial review from 2011: It makes a nice impression when a manufacturer includes a safety cover on these camera batteries, since it protects from possible electrical shorts and dirt on the exposed contacts. These batteries have now been through about a dozen recharging cycles and easily outperform the factory battery, even when it was new. The power rating is higher on these batteries, which can sometimes mean a significant trade-off in the total number of recharge cycles available until the battery is exhausted and must be replaced. At this price, the higher capacity is worth that tradeoff should this be the case. Physical fit is excellent; snaps into place as it should, and the construction of the outer plastic is as good as the factory original. Recommended.

Liked that I could get additional batteries that work, affordably.

Guess I can't be too mad that a 3rd party battery died after 6 years, especially at this price point. I've used them intermittently in my Canon SX60HS since 2019, and today I pulled it out of storage to shoot some video, and found that it had turned into a spicy pillow. Not bad. Worked fine for the time it was working. But my Canon OEM battery that is even older and has been in the same rotation for the same amount of time is still going strong, so clearly these are not as good as OEM. Guess that's not a surprise.

I just reached the 1 year mark with these batteries and sadly the warranty period is over. I use mine with the Canon Powershot SX50 HS. I bought two of these. On one, I can only get 30 photos after a "full charge", which takes only like 10 mins with is very strange, fast. On the 2nd one I was able to get almost 70 shots. That's just not enough to be trust worthy, 100 or so shots with 2 fully charged batteries. I wish I could get them exchanged but it's too late for that now. I charge mine with my original Canon battery charger that came with my camera.

Right product and quick delivery

Bought these camera batteries to replace similar units that I had originally purchased from Amazon several years ago. They don't hold quite as much charge as the manufacturers batteries and tend to fail a little sooner, but they are way cheaper and a great value for your money.
