Instant Heat Breast Warmers

One of those things you’d be glad to have and not need rather than need and not have!!! They heat very quickly with the snap of a button. Well above body temperature but not too hot! My milk came in fast and caused many painful clogs. These warmers were able to heat the clogged ducts and allow for easy milk flow. Wonderful product to have on hand. They come in a compact carrier which you could easily throw in your diaper bag or purse. My only complaint is having to boil them to reuse again but that’s just me being lazy. Buy them! They save lots of time wasted, heating your breasts in the shower trying to relieve the pain and clog 🚿. Just pop these in your bra!

Sometimes I wake up in the AM, near where I sleep on my side, close to my armpit and under my arm and feel a little nagging knot or section of clogged duct. Even after that first morning feed, I may still have some discomfort, which if not handled can lead to a fully clogged duct or much worse! These new Frida Mom Instant Heat Breast Warmers are a life saver. I can wear them solo, while I’m actively breastfeeding or even when I’m pumping! The heat to loosens the clog and improves my let down. Love that they are reusable and be so targeted on my chest. The box contains a drawstring bag for storage of the 4 heat packs as well as instructions - which also fit inside the drawstring which is perfect. Just remember - no microwave! 4 heat packs (2 small, 2 large) x 30 uses a piece - the price per use is super low. A great gift idea, too. No more knuckle kneading in the shower or hanging over baby to have gravity release the clog.

This product works as intended. I love how it instantly heats. Not as warm as I had hoped. Easy to use. But I only use them once or twice a day because it’s a process to reset them. Boiling them and waiting for them to cool to use them.

I have both this product and the lansinoah one. The Frida one is pretty cool the first time you open the package. It has that little metal that you click and it starts turning into that hot pad. The idea is great and it works until you have to go and boil it so it can turn back to the original form. Now after the first use i noticed that the gel is getting less in it and since ive used it twice so far (such a hassle to boil it every time) i can not tell if it will get smaller and not work for longer period of time. The Lansinoah one is with little gel like balls that you heat in the microwave. I've used that one a ton of times because its so much easier to toss it in the microwave for 15sec and repeat right away if you need it. No boiling needing. Again over time the balls pop, break or shrink and the package becomes smaller but i would prefer that due to the time it takes. Now depending where you are the pros and cons of these vary. If you are at home or have a microwave wherever you are, get the Lansinoah ones. If you are somewhere on the move, like a trip with the car and intend to use it just once or if needed, grab the frida mom. These are great for letdowns and also for clogged ducts.

Pros: Very warm once activated and stays warm for entire 25 min pumping session. Reusable and easily reactivated, comfortable with good size and coverage. Cons: A little unwieldy/floppy but if tucked into a nursing bra, we’re A-Okay. Packaging states that it’s reusable only 30 times, but we’ll see when we get there! Notes: I’ve struggled with Raynaud’s Syndrome in my nipples and extreme cold sensitivity in my breasts during pumping and these have changed EVERYTHING. I would strongly recommend these. Grade: A

It was amazing the first time I used it. I boiled them to use them a second time and they initially returned to a liquid state. I returned 20 minutes later to find that they all returned back to a solid state. You can only use it again if you use it immediately after they are boiled but then they are scalding hot and you will burn yourself. Sadly, they were not useable except for once. Disappointing because Frida products are usually great.

So in theory this product is great. I’ve used it at home and during air travel. The product does stay warm for a really long time—much longer than the microwaveable warmers. Despite being effective, I think the boiling reset makes this product too complicated unless you’re purchasing 3-5 of these and have a constant rotation. The boiling issue sucks. It really does. To reset the warmers you have to 1) boil water 2) stick the warmers in a net 3) boil the warmers for 15 minutes and 4) take warmers off the stove after 15 minutes. You have to do this after every single use. It’s just super inconvenient and too time consuming. Maybe it wouldn’t be so bad for someone who purchased 3-5 of these warmers and boils their bottles/pacifiers/pump parts every night. But I’ve never met someone who boils parts every night; usually people wait a week or two or use a stand alone sterilizer. But although the boiling issue really sucks, I think this is a travel necessity. I use warmers every single time I pump to assist in my let down and when pumping on an airplane you don’t have microwave. Depending on the length of travel however you may need to order at least 2 or 3 of these because of the boiling issue.

Love the warming for when I’m breastfeeding and I feel like I’m on the verge of a clogged duct. These are a life saver and I can’t recommend them enough! Love the new formula and that Frida mom is always working on improving their products for us!
