Good buy.
Finally got one. It was everything I expected from Gerber. Arrived very sharp and the weight is just right for me. Good for outdoors use or camping. Will not split big logs but will feather or trim branches for making fire. Can also be used to cut through tough meat and small bones. Small size also means can be easily concealed in a back pack or bag which is good for urban survival scenario. Good buy.

This hatchet is a scam and is not sharp at all. It couldn’t baton wood and wouldn’t pierce through small wood. It’s as effective as scissors. My knife performed better. Waste of money

軽く、フルタングで頑丈、ブレードはレーザーシャープ！いいものです。ブレードを研いでやったらフェザースティックも簡単に作れました。ひとつ改善点を言うなら、シースがいまいち使いにくいかも。

Packmaß ist super. Gewicht ist vergleichsweise leicht. Kleine baumstücke lassen sich damit trotz fehlendem Keil spalten. Die Axt ist sehr gut geschärft und auch nach mehrtägige Benutzung hat sie keine Kerben oder sonst welche Abnutzung Erscheinungen. Die Axt ist super geeignet um Oberflächen zu bearbeiten oder um Feuerholz für ein Lagerfeuer zu machen. Als Buscraft/survival Tool nur zu empfehlen. Für Große Bäume fehlt das Gewicht und der längere Stiel um wirklich Wirkung zu haben aber dafür ist sie auch nicht gedacht. Kann die Axt nur empfehlen.

This is a really nice little hatchet, nice weight in the hand (heavier then it looks), very easy to to make feather sticks to start a fire, cuts through smallish/medium sized diameter wood easily but thicker wood would take longer to go through. Sheath is nice, fits on the belt nicely, the hatchet drops into the sheath making sure it'll never fall out, came fairly sharp but could do with a touch up like most of the gerber knives you buy. I love it
