Saved a new pair of jeans!
I didn't know if I could do this but it was actually pretty easy. This saved an expensive pair of new jeans! Just make sure you get the correct size... who knew zipper pulls weren't all alike?... me apparently. The number is on the back of the zipper🙂

Worked with my hoodie. Will it hold up over time?
The most common theme and expert here is to keep your broken zipper around--be buried with it, if possible! Well, I didn't do that. All metal. No weak snapping together. Decent quality--not great.Zipper-slides, fitted on newer items these days, simply disentegrate. It seems that they are painted ceramic--not metal. So, the industry is problematic, in the first place. (This reminds me of a cheap chain-link remover for bicycle tires. The body of it actually was ceramic--not painted silver!)I man handled the stop and the first teeth to ptove perpendicular to each other. After much frustration, I got it on. (It's very easy to install it upside-down!, or on the wrong side!)I also attempted with another slide--seemingly, that slide appeared to have a better fit. It would not slide at all: That's puzzling. It does zip up and down nominally, currently. The seasons for it are over here--so, I'll have to see next fall and if it"s reasonably workable.

Made me a hero
It worked great. Was able to repair my 4 year old grandson's jacket. Made Papa look good to him.

OMG...this kit is amazing and it actually fixed the zipper problem for my couch
I bought a sectional couch with washable covers held together by zippers. After washing a cover, its zipper slider was completely missing. Upon closer inspection, the zipper never had stoppers so the slider flew off in the washing machine. Luckily I found this kit with different size of sliders to accommodate different types and sizes of zippers. A quick measurement of the zipper (basically the width of the zipper in mm in the zipped up state) told me that I needed size 3 which this kit had. The kit also included stoppers. After receiving the kit, it pointed to their homepage which had instructional videos that were super well produced. Fixed the issue in 5 minutes. Crimped the stoppers and now the couch cover is in better state than the original - original came with no name el cheapo zipper sliders, and this one is all YKK, which is the Japanese zipper maker.

Great kit, good instructions, but missing pieces.
I really liked this kit and would recommend. I thought the instructions were very well-written and, even though the 'repair' element didn't come until the end, understanding the workings of the zipper and which type you're dealing with was important for the job.The zipper pull was damaged on my mom's husband's beloved 20 year old coat and for some reason the local cleaning/repair shop wouldn't tackle it for him. I ordered this kit and fixed it for him as a Christmas treat. I found it extremely simple to accomplish. The instructions had plenty of photos and a thorough read through really helped. I admit to being a tad unclear about the 'top stops' as the original broke (expectedly) when I removed it, and the new stop didn't clamp as well as I'd have liked...moving around just a tad. I will stitch above it to reinforce.I did get the sense from the instructions that there are some general 'zipper facts' and if you can get the gist, you can rig pretty much anything, so long as the zipper teeth aren't broken. The reason for the slightly lower rating is that the kit is lacking all of its promised contents. The enclosed list sites 22 pieces and yet my kit came with only 16. (My photo shows only 14 pieces, as I've already repaired an item, using a slider and a stop.I think more stops would have been warranted, in case of trial and error, or if one is lost. They're quite small. In any case, many pieces were missing. Not worth haggling over, as I got the job done and that alone was worth the cost of the kit, but I'm sorry the seller was't more cautious about that.Would still recommmend and am pleased with the result. Didn't use the hotline but I get the impression the manufacturer is available to help.

Was able to repair a few zippers
I got this to fix a fleece vest I use all the time. This had all the parts I needed. As I had the kit is came in handy again as another zipper broke and I was able to repair it with this kit. I'd buy again if I needed to do more repairs.

Great Item that does exactly what it says
I note lots of people have complained that there are no instructions. If you youtube the company there are excellent videos to offer instructions that I found much easier than reading. I fixed a favourite coat with this saving approximately £20 in the dry cleaners and feel confident that I can now fix any zip with the spares. The pullers are quality...it's not worth buying the cheaper options available.

'Zipper Rescue', pretty much sums it up.
I purchased both the Clothing and the Outdoor Kits. So far I've managed to Rescue about +$800 dollars worth of treasured clothing and outdoor gear ( T-max hoodie, Down vest, hunting pack, quality sleeping bag, ice fishing tent, etc. which were all on deck to get tossed, due to broken zippers. Wish I would have clued into this years sooner.

Exactly what was needed.
Pretty much what you'd expect, a box of various sized zips to replace broken items. However, what's not immediately clear is that not only are there different size zips, but there are different widths to the zips as well. I bought this to replace the broken zipper in my wife's favourite (and quite expensive) coat. The first large zipper I tried wouldn't go onto the zip...it was too narrow. Looked in the pack and sure enough, there was another large zipper in there that was quite a bit wider. Tried that, and it fitted perfectly....coat fully repaired!! Perfect !!
