Excellent tape for my DIY project
This high quality flexible tape really impressed me. I used it to complete a repair on my 2004 BMW 330ci. A bundle of wires from the trunk to the trunk lid needed repair. This required slicing the black rubber boot open to access the wires. The 3M Temflex Rubbing Splicing Tape was a great repair solution for the black corrugated sleeve covering the wire bundle. The self adhesive feature is activated when the tape is stretched. It was pliable enough to conform to the ripples and provide a good seal. The pictures show the repair in progress and completed. I'm confident with this choice and recommend it.

Waterproof tape
This is not tape as you think of tape. No sticky adhesive. It is stretchy rubber that fuses to itself when wrapped forming a solid piece of rubber. Once fused it will not unwrap but you have to make sure the loose end fuses. For extra protection and durability wrap over it with electrical tape. I use this mainly for my radio coax connectors and it really keeps the moisture out. Amazing stuff if you want a durable, long lasting water proof connection. Also great for tool handles.

It is good stuff once stretched
This is good fusing tape and after years of reviewing Amazon products I've decided to stop giving so many 5-star reviews. This tape works great when stretched and adheres to itself well just like it should. It's thick and didn't break easily in the few times I've used it so far on my trailer. The only thing is that when hanging up in the shop, the tape doesn't stay stuck to the roll, so it might get dirt under the last inch or so. Otherwise it's great.

Great for increasing wired headphone cord durability
I used this to help make my wired headphones more durable at the point where the cord splits between the two earphones by wrapping it around that section of the cord, and it was easy to use and worked great.

Good sealing
Finally used this. I made a small tv antenna and mounted it outside so wanted to seal the cable to balun connector. Wrapped it with this tape and it appears to be well sealed. Should keep moisture out and eliminate the corrosion I’ve seen on unsealed connections. The key is being able to stretch it tight while wrapping. It feels heavy duty so expect a long life. Time will tell

Super good rubber tape. I usually use magic tape but this is much higher quality and is much thicker.
