Too big
I have a 1974 Johnson seahorse 4 outboard. the plastic trim, I guess you can call it, is way too wide. So it does not fit the engine. This item is not as advertised. As for the hose and squeeze pump, great quality and material. Great item, fits gas tank. I would recommend this item, but just buy a slimmer attachment for the engine

Just what the pontoon boat needed
After an empty gas tank and stranded on the boat this replacement was just what was needed.

Just say no
This is cheap for a reason. The ball is tiny. Half the size of my old one. I wouldn’t trust it to keep correct gas pressure going to the motor. The connections are cheesy too. Just a big nope.

Part too big
It does say in the description "You must confirm whether the interfaces are the same before purchasing please." but does not say how to confirm that. Since I didn't have the part, how do I easily confirm it? It would save a lot of time, money, negative reviews and frustration if the description had more information on how to get the right part.

Would not fit nor function on my '76 Johnson 35HP
It did connect to the gas tank, but when I tried to connect it to the motor, the outside dimensions and flange would not slide onto the motor prongs. I managed to sand the front bottom of the connector down and it made a very tight click onto the mounting and fuel studs. Then I tried to pump the primer bulb, but it would not siphon gas from the tank in spite of my efforts. I put the old fuel line on and it worked immediately...tried the new one again and it would not pickup any gas. I spent a couple hours trying to figure out what was wrong, and finally gave up...save your time and money.

not 3/8 ID
nor 3/8" ID, will not connect to a Johnson OMC motor connector without using your old connector, bulb is smaller than most
