The AVAPOW 2000A came with 3 of the 4 bars already charged, so that saved a few hours of charge time right off the bat. I used it to start my V6 3.5L vehicle three times with no problem. After three starts, it went from 4 bars to 2 bars - considering that it started the car instantly upon hookup each time, I don't consider the power usage as an issue as it's intended for emergency use anyway. In practicality, if I had to use it away from home, then I would immediately start charging it in the car on the drive back. It is lighter than a few others of comparable size that I've seen. It's advertised as having reverse polarity protection, over-current protection, and short-circuit protection. No additional frills other than a light and three charging ports, which I like so I can slowly drain the charge with a phone/tablet/etc instead of just leaving it charged for several months. A portable jumper is a DEFINITE must-have for families and I give this one a thumbs based on it's operating power, ease of use, weight, and price!

Phenomenal product! Wife and I got caught out in a storm after camping with a dead battery. Connected the Avapow to the battery and the car started within seconds. Easy to use. Also has other functions such as a flash light or portable power bank but I will strictly use it for the jumpstarting function when necessary. Awesome product, thank you!

I discovered this item when my roadside assistance tow truck driver used one to get my dead van battery started. The carrying case is durable and compact, and will fit under a car seat, or in the trunk. Much more convenient to have this than to just carry jumper cables and still have to rely on someone. Within a couple of minutes you're finished, packed up and ready to go on your way.

Purchased this to jump start a 2019 Dodge Charger if needed. Received the product but didn't need to use it until it got cold and the vehicle didn't start. Even though the unit indicated it was fully charged it would not jump my vehicle and flashed and beeped the LV light. The unit was full so not sure why it wouldn't even try to start the vehicle. Contacted support which was great, they responded pretty quickly, determined the unit was defective and sent a new one in a week or so. Didn't have a dead battery to test the new one on until the other day but when I did, same problem, unit was fully charged but the LV light came on and beeped and would not start the vehicle. My vehicle is a 6.4 liter engine and the product description says it starts vehicles up to 8L. I think this unit is falsely labeled and can't start the larger engines. That or I happened to get 2 defective units. Really wanted it to work as I liked everything else about it, it just doesn't live up to what it says it should.Update: The company responded within a day and said they were having issues with the cables and would send me an updated set or offered me a refund. I'll try the cables but the product gets a low score for now since it won't work but customer service has been excellent so far.New cables came a day later. A week after that I had a dead car and the product jumped a 2019 Dodge Charger as described. Product appears good but customer service has been great.

worth every penny, I purchased it new, charged it up and left it in my car for several months. I van would not start and I thought (no way) its going to jump my can after sitting for months. WELL YES IT DID, VAN STARTED RIGHT UP ON THE FIRST TRY WITHOUT ANY HESITATION.

Works great for a jump! Kept it in my car. I went to leave work today and car battery was dead, coworkers had already left. I followed the clear instructions included with the device, worked like a charm! Took less than 5 mins from discovering the car battery was dead to getting it started. I was able to get to my preferred auto parts store about 20 miles away and get the battery replaced. I was worried because it had been 6 weeks or so since I last charged the jump pack, but it was no problem. Every car should have one!

I bought one of these in Nov. 2023 . That's 14 months ago and store it in my trunk. That's in weather below zero and over 100 degrees . When I first got it I charged it full (4 bars). I have used it to jump my lawn tractor once and my Honda CRV 3 times and I still have 4 bars. I just hook it up to the battery , get in the car and as soon as I turn the key the CRV starts . It's amazing how fast it works. Did I get lucky when I received this particular unit or are they all well made in this brand? I'm about to buy another one and will find out but I now have trust in this brand and model. I just received a second jump starter of another brand and wonder why I bought that when I've had great performance from the one I have so I haven't even opened the box on the one I just got and will return it and buy a second AVAPOW 2000 AMP charger . Why take a chance when I know I have a good one ? Obviously I like what I have and highly recommend it . No it doesn't have a digital display , just four bars but like everything else , the more hi tech you go, the more to go wrong. I still have the starter , flashlight a recepticles to charge my cell phone or other gadgets but I know I'll never use them . All I need is the jump starter and the light in case I need to jump my vehicles after dark. Keep it simple !
