As others have written, these are beefy glasses. No joking, each tumbler weighs just under 18 ounces. That's over a pound! You'll know you've got a drink in your hand. Aesthetically speaking the fluted sides are classically attractive (and even the base is ringed in matching concentric circles). Glass is clear and smooth. A great choice if you're OK with the heft.

Heavy duty, perfect size for the larger round ice cubes, delivered in one piece (not broken or chipped). Highly recommended to add to your cocktail glass selection.

They are very pretty and have a nice weight to them. Perfect glasses for Old Fashioneds. So pleased with this purchase!!

I usually hand wash glasses, so the divot in the bottom of the glass (which retains water after dishwashing) doesn't really bother me. Several similar glasses on Amazon also have a divot. I bought a used set for 20% off. Glasses are good for this--they're either perfect, or chipped. If chipped, return. If not, wash before using.

These glasses have a fairly thick lip, so they don't feel very refined. Then again, we bought these because after 8+ years we broke the Crate and Barrel "Vance" glasses we had (very similar) and those are now ridiculously expensive (more than 2x the cost of these). These are not going to break going in and out of the dishwasher and the divot on the bottom will only hold water if you place them precisely flat in the dishwasher and your dishwasher does a poor job of draining and drying.

I've had these for a few years now, and the combination of volume, durability, weight, grip, and elegant design is tough to match at this price. I've only broken one, which for me, is an achievement in itself!

We love these. They're a nice weight and beautiful to look at. However, because my husband dropped one outside on our metal frog, it broke. We're ordering another set.
