I would have liked them to be a bit wider, and they seemed a bit flimsy, but they did the job required of them so would buy again if the need arose.

Needed to hold a piece of flexible conduit in place , did what l needed it to .

I purchased these 141-165mm clips to secure some 150mm lightweight flexible PVC ducting, the kind used for extraction/ventilation. They are clearly very cheaply made with some sharp edges particularly on the inside surface where there are burrs around each slot from where they have been punched out. On tightening they inevitably cut the thin PVC, not the end of the world if only fitting once, but if you needed to remove/replace these several times, before long they would make quite a mess of the ducting. Good quality Jubilee clips are not manufactured in this way.I am also not convinced these are really 304 stainless steel as they are far too magnetic to be austenitic stainless steel.The drive head only has a simple slot for a standard screwdriver, as these clips are quite fiddly to fit having a phillips/pozi drive is much better to maintain engagement. Is best to use a 5mm socket if you can.I have previously purchased far superior clips elsewhere which have a phillips/pozi drive, rounded edges and no burrs, however they were about twice the price, so it is a case of you get what you pay for. Most similar clips available on Amazon come from China and appear to be the same poor quality bad design. This seems to be the general direction Amazon has headed, I return far more items these days and end up using real stores who wouldn’t consider selling the rubbish Amazon are happy to ‘fulfil’.These are really a false economy, I wouldn’t recommend them.
