You can get lighter chairs but they are all quite a bit weaker and less comfortable. This is the perfect balance

I purchased the Big Agnes trout print chair primarily for its lightweight design and the fact that it has no plastic in the base—something that's important to me for durability. The trout print was an added bonus, especially since I’m an avid fly fisher, so the design really resonated with me. This chair exceeded my expectations during a 100-mile Philmont hike where it held up amazingly well, and it's still going strong a year later. I use it almost every weekend for camping, fishing, and other adventures, and it's become an essential part of my gear.
