Disappointing and difficult to use
I’m very disappointed with the Cricut Foil Transfer Kit. Despite multiple tests, adjusting settings, and carefully following the instructions, the results were underwhelming. The tool doesn’t fit smoothly into Clamp B on my Cricut Maker 3 and requires significant force to close. I’m not sure if it’s defective or just poorly designed, but I’m not willing to risk damaging my machine by continuing to use it.Even when it works, it’s very hit-or-miss and wastes a lot of material just to get an acceptable result. And to add to all of that, when it works the transferred foil does not adhere nicely to the paper and it will wash away very quickly. I really wanted this tool to work, but it’s not worth the hassle, frustration, or cost. I wouldn’t recommend it and will be looking into other foil options instead.
