Had this red Dodge key fob cover for about a year now and it’s been solid. Good quality, no cracks, no fading, and still looks clean. Fits perfect and does the job. Easy 5 stars.

Excellent easy to use, easy to install board inside of it, has a nice feel to it, nice finish, nice color, buttons function properly, great buy, only thing to remember is to swap your key out or get the key it comes with cut to fit yours. Don’t end up in an emergency and not be able to use your key because you forgot to swap your old one or didn’t get it cut

My original key fob was falling apart and no longer working correctly. The outer padding had come off, exposing the internal components and letting moisture in, which caused further damage. Replacing the entire key fob was going to cost over $200, so I looked for a more affordable solution and decided to try replacing just the outer casing. After some research, I ordered this key fob shell replacement. Once it arrived, the swap was quick and easy—I simply transferred the internal parts from my old key fob into the new shell and reassembled it. I also replaced the battery so everything would be fresh. The new shell works great overall, except for the lock button. I realized that with the old casing so worn down, I must’ve damaged the contact point inside, so the lock function no longer engages electronically. I now lock my car manually, but considering the savings, I can live with that. If you're dealing with a worn-out key fob and want a budget-friendly alternative, I definitely recommend this. Just keep in mind that if the internal components are already damaged, some buttons might not function perfectly. Otherwise, it's a simple and cost-effective fix!

Own a 2018 jeep renegade and I bought this cause the buttons on my fob were cracked. So I was just doing a she’ll swap. This case does not fit the cut key of my renegade. Luckily with a little effort I was able to fit the original back plate onto the front of this one. It wasn’t a perfect snap situation but it worked. Buttons are sturdy and looks exactly like I expected. I would buy it again if I need another one

Took about 5 minutes to pull the guts out of the old shell and pop them into this one. Everything works as it should. Except for not having DODGE engraved on the emergency door key, it is indistinguishable from the OEM that came with my car in 2011. Update: The transmitter and the battery don't fit as tight in this as they did in the factory fob. I had to bend the battery prongs out further to get it to work and stay working. Several times before I did this I had to pop open the case and readjust everything before my car would start.

This item can not be used to replace the cover of your old key fob. It is two pieces, the front and back, made of stiff plastic on the top which should actually be 3 pieces not one piece, you can not use the buttons, and the circuit board will not fit inside corre tly either.

A perfect replacement and definitely recommend 👌🏽

If your key works and only the FOB body gets damaged. This is a good alternative. This is only body shell.!switch the circuit board into the shell and you have a new FOB…
