I love these and use sleep masks a lot. They’re soft, have a good strap adjustability and they’re big enough to go over eyes and cover the bit that your nose lets through I started off with the pink one, and moved to the black one only becauee the pink one lets daylight through which wakes me (I don’t know if it’s because the material is light but I tested during daylight opening my eyes in the pink one and I can see brightness but not with the Black one) That’s fine for me as I could still use the pink one in winter or during a plane flight but in summer in our bedroom the sun shines right in and I need the thing that makes it the darkest m. Will def buy again. The only reason a star was taken off was because the pink one sadly does let daylight through (at least for me)

Effective at keeping light out. Easy to adjust and comfortable. The pure silk is lovely and cool but warm at the same time. Helps to aid a really good nights sleep. Would thoroughly recommend.

Very nice masks so soft and pleasant on the face. Easy to adjust and giving a wonderful warm feeling, so much so that it is far better than heated mask, which gets too hot. Material real silk is also wonderful

I have never tried these till now but my cat keeps opening my curtains at night and am waking up at early hours in total daylight and cannot sleep so thought would try them. I suffer from migraines so also thought might work for them but in fact it was the opposite , I used them twice and both mornings woke up with a headache! They are really soft and you can adjust the size at the back to not be tight but my head does not like them, I recommend them for anyone who does not get headaches but if your like me it might not work which am gutted about to be honest as really comfy and well made.

I understand these masks are produced by a small, family business and so I was reluctant to post a review that was negative. Well, a little negative, so I will try and be constructive. I love, and highly recommend that any eye mask be of silk (I even use a silk pillow case) as, allegedly, this is good for your skin and minimises the likelihood of getting wrinkles. These - you get 2 for the price - are definitely made of a beautiful, soft silk and for that reason alone I highly recommend them. To get 2 for £7.99 is fantastic value. These masks don't look as plump as shown on their listing and, although they do a good job, because of their size, at blocking out light, for me, they are a little 'thin' or, flimsy and, this is relevant to the way they fit. My previous masks, more expensive and now unavailable, were quite plump and well padded, they also had a wider elastic than these do the result being that the mask sat comfortably on the eyes. Unfortunately, these have a thinner elastic, less padding and, as a result the mask seems to collapse in the middle putting, a little, but noticeable pressure on the eyes. Having just had two bouts of laser surgery for retinal tears, I was, to begin with, reluctant to continue using them. The elastic is adjustable and I extended this to it's fullest and am now using the mask again. The things that bother me may not bother you and, as said, these are real silk, fabulously soft and do a good job of blocking light but, if the manufacturer would just look again at the padding and the elastic and consider how to improve both so that the mask itself does not 'distort/lose shape/collapse' (not sure how to describe it) when placed over the eyes.

i recommend this product after years of trying to get sleep early to finish minimum 7 hours of sleep i tried to keep clothes like towel or wet tissues to cover my eyes but nothing worked out . i tried this in my yesterday night sleep and trust me the total darkness is very beneficial and does not enter the light to pass even from the nose area and about the cloth in the past i didnt used silk so was not aware how it feels but this is the first time i used and its very good and Comfy

I’ve never used a sleep mask before and I don’t plan to sleep in this, so my needs maybe different from yours. I chose these for when I have a headache and have to stay home during the day, and the light is filtering through the blinds. Also fourin the evening when I have to sit in my chair, and my husband wants to watch TV, because the lights flickering from the TV are torture to a headache. Since I can make these masks work for me I’m going to give you the positives and the negatives so you know what to expect: PROS: The material is really nice. They are beautifully sewn. I hand washed them without trouble before wearing them and they came out fine. The elastic is good. The buckle works perfectly. Neither are uncomfortable or annoying. They are light weight and extremely soft and luxurious feeling. They rest lightly on my eyes and face with the elastic extended. CONS: They come nowhere near to blocking light 100%. They DO touch my eyelids and eyelashes, if that’s a problem for you. I’m not used to it, but I expected it, and I think I can get used to it. Of course, given an alternative I’d rather not have to. I have a large ”hat” size for the strap, but an medium face and eye shape for the mask, with an angular nose. For me it almost completely shuts out light around the edges, but a little light can leak inaround the nose. If I press the edges in lightly, I can almost 100% close the gap. But I’m not moving around and I’m not sleeping, I’m sitting there in my chair. If you need 100% coverage this probably won’t work for you unless you have close set eyes, smaller eyes and a flatter nose. As for light blocking, it’s not bad with my eyes closed, but if I open my eyes, I can clearly see light filtering through the texture of the fabric. Not bright, but pervasive. My solution is going to be to take the second mask, sit at my sewing machine, and neatly stitch the two together around the edges. Hand sewing would probably do, but might make the material pucker up unless you’re really good at hand sewing. When I lay one over the other, the light blocking is perfect, it’s still not heavy. If they sold one with a darker layer of light blocking - or combined the two into one mask, I would’ve been happy to pay for $10 for just one. I can make this work for me, and I’m perfectly happy to do so because I don’t want to fiddle around with second-guessing what other brands might possibly have MOMME ratings and be actual silk, rather than polyester for $10 or less. For the price, these are absolutely fabulous, but you have to take those other things into consideration or it might be a problem for you. Overall, I’m very happy with this purchase. They are pretty yummy.
