Fans with Plastic fan bones are easier to dance
The same seller has a large fan with a plastic fan bone product, it would be easier to open and close.I think this bamboo product is good for display only. It doesn't open and close smoothly. Painted red bamboo bones are somehow not easy to open and close.The price is good, the seller reply questions. So I gave it 4 stars.Buy plastic. See ASIN# B07PPN54D1. Same seller.

Great for Festivals
Cons: NonePros: LargeI bought this for a festival, and it works well. The fan is about twice the size of a regular handheld fan so prepare a way to attach it to your bags if you don't want to hold it.

You get what you pay for
I got this for a dance cover, and after about a day or two of use, it is extremely loose and does not hold very well. The screw keeping it together has loosened considerably, and while I will keep it for practicing, I will have to purchase another fan for the performance itself. Overall, for what you are paying, it's decent to just practice with, but overall is not high quality or durable. The fan material itself is also obviously very cheap and the glue begins to separate after a few days of heavy use.

Paintable for your own sassiness
Decided my roller derby team needed an audience member with a clack fan to cheer them on. So I got some white acrylic paint, and got to work. Paint didn’t seep through and there was no change to the sound when opened.

It arrived broken, the material of the fan coming off the plastic. Has a gross smell to it, and kinda flimsy. May work if it was wasn’t broken but be careful as they seem fragile.
