I'm not a coffee aficionado, so take this for what it's worth.Comes in a paper bag. It definitely made my Amazon box smell nice! The whole beans smell very nicely of cocoa and slight "green" which I'll attribute to the cloves. Very pleasant!Took some beans to the grinder, threw it into a French press and brewed. After the pour, I noticed that the nose is much more muted, but you can still smell the cloves. Typical dark roast flavor profile but the finish has a touch of green. Overall it was almost "boring" but the finish reminds you that you're drinking something other than a generic dark roast.Not going to knock it too much for my personal taste. I'd recommend a try, although it's a bit pricey for "a try." Not quite "super dank;" just dank. =)

Found this brand at a Whole Foods a while back and have returned to amazon for subsequent purchases. It is my favorite coffee!! Smooth but robust dark blend, very fresh, doesn’t have acidic after taste. Highly recommend!

We used to pick this wonderful coffee up locally, but ended up moving away from the Pacific Northwest. Needless to say, when we discovered it was available via Amazon, there was much rejoicing! Dark, smooth and on any given morning you're able to enjoy it, tell your boss you had some Chronic to kick off your day, and still pass your urinalysis...

"Super" let down by the Chronic. Was expecting a dark dank flavor, but got nothing like that. Has a light chocolatey flavor. Not a dank or dark roast flavor. Over priced. Just don't Waste your time or moment.

One of the best dark roasts I’ve had. Chocolate, tobacco, mahogany notes.

If so this coffee is for you! Personally it was nothing too special. Also, a little light for me.

Really not great, especially for the price. I was excited to try this and expected a strong rich taste however the taste was more like watered down coffee. Beans also arrived dry with no visible oils at all. Overall a letdown

Not terrible, not as good as I had hoped it would be; the package arrived in good condition, the beans are fresh and smell nice, but the "clove" aftertaste is killing it for me.
