Good but its black and white. Would be good to have a colorful workbook.

I have two daughters, neither of whom are what you might describe as keen students. Having arrived from outside the UK they were very behind in their school french so I bought this series in an attempt to help them get up to date. As a parent who has spent a small fortune on books of this type I wasn't expecting a great deal, but I was actually pleasantly surprised by this series. It works very systematically through the french that you need to know, and this workbook, which includes exercises to complete based on what is in the other books in the series, is well laid out and helps to highlight any knowledge gaps. Not only that, but miracle of miracles, my children actually enjoy completing it. The other french book that runs alongside it includes a CD ROM that plays the various french phrases, and these are then reinforced by the work in the workbook. One thing to note is that although this is a KS3 book it does start from the beginning, with numbers, days of the week, etc. This might be good revision if you have a slightly more advanced student, and is great for those that need to catch up or who are new to the language. I would highly recommend this book.

i’m so happy with the quality of this product. of course i wasn’t expecting it to be in perfect condition, corners of the book were slightly curled but apart from that it’s good. no writing inside either :))
