Good product
I’ll get right to the point—MaxGuard Pantry Moth Traps do what they are advertised to do: trap and kill pantry moths (the ones that get trapped). The traps are very sticky—I have long hair, so…yeah. Otherwise they are safe and easy to set up and last for a few months or until they get full. I can’t attest to whether or not they attract the male moths (how can I tell?). They haven’t eliminated the problem by stopping the breeding cycle, so I’m guessing the traps don’t catch ALL the males. The traps do, however, help. My cautionary tale: I have a pantry moth problem—obviously. The nasty beasties hitched a ride in a bag of dry dog food a couple of years ago and have been unwelcome house guests since. Once I identified what they were, I ordered 2 brands of traps, this brand being one. Both worked to cut down on the growing population, but neither eliminated them. I slightly favored the other brand, but it may have been a location issue. It seemed to catch more moths, although it involved an extra step to set up—applying a tablet to the sticky inner surface to supposedly attract them. Time came to reorder and the other brand had risen in price disproportionately to its value so I ordered more of the MaxGuard brand (and have since continued to order it). As I mentioned before, it doesn’t eliminate the problem, but it does help keep it under control. They are worse in the summer during which time I have found their larva in some newly purchased items, like grain products. I presently have hopes for a total wipe-out which will take an intensified assault. I plan to initiate one this fall by emptying my pantry, throwing out anything that isn’t in jars or bottles or cans, spraying (works on the larva), zapping, scrubbing, and bombing. I chose to put it off because I had an elderly dog and cat and also because I simply have not had the time I know it will take to do a thorough purge. After that, I will continue to put out one or two MaxGuard traps in strategic spots to monitor—just in case I buy something with a stowaway. Even though I now transfer all the products I know they like to infest into well-sealed canisters, I have occasionally found larva attached to cans. I’ve also learned that the larvae can chew their way into zippered plastic bags! Life in central Texas—one insect after another. I hope this helps some of you who have similar uninvited guests.

Moths begone!
We have a moth issue stemming from the bags of bird seeds we purchased recently and which are stored in the garage. It seems the moths were in the seed bags and when we opened them, out flew the little buggers. Quite a few managed to fly in the house! we tried a few moth traps but none were as effective as the Maxguard moth traps. In just a few hours, several moths are already in the trap. I imagine we'll be done with the moth problem soon.

These things work!
I brought pantry Moss home from apparently a nuts selling company here in Fort Worth Texas. I let it stay in the garage when I open the package all these moths flew out so I got some moth traps at Walmart and then they run out of them nobody stalking them anymore. So I got these from Amazon they work like a champ. Every trap I put out in the garage is become full within 2 days so all this left now is to put an attractant inside the traps that gets them to come inside faster than just waiting. These are a definite must-have if you have pantry moths and you'll know if you have them or not they're flying all around the place if you do. Buy this product. January 18th 2025, just bought another pack of these they got rid of the major infestation this is just to get those slackers that keep setting off my indoor home alarm system at 7:30 in the morning waking the crap out of me so I got a few left I guess. Good stuff buy it especially if you got these stupid pantry moss I don't know where the heck they came from but I think I do I bought some raw unsalted unroasted in the shell peanuts from a local nut company as I feed the Blue Jays and I think they were in the box because when I opened up the box in the garage about a year ago all these bugs start flying out so they were in the nuts. This is good stuff put one in your pantry one in every cabinet that you have in your kitchen get rid of these pests.

We have been fighting pantry moths for quite some time. Cleaning and more cleaning to no avail. Finally we are having success with eliminating the pests. The trapping has been quite successful.

In three days these traps have already outperformed my expectations! A must buy!!!
Three days and LOOK!!! OMG!!! Here I didn't know if these were going to work as I had never seen a pantry moth in my kitchen near my stove but I was having an issue with flour beetles... it's odd because I don't keep any food in the cabinets around my stove, yet I was having an influx of flower beetles on my stove. My stove is a sealed top because it's a gas range and there's no food particles on my stove as I keep it spotless. But for the last few weeks I've just been having an abundance of these darn little bugs. Off and on I would find these little beetles dead above the stove where I keep my plasticware, mind you again there's no food stored in the cabinets near my stove. My pantry is in the laundry room nowhere near the kitchen. The only thing with food, per se, is the toaster which is near my stove yet there were none of these little boogers near or in my toaster. I think they were dropping down from the range hood vent, but not sure. Fast-forward, I purchased these pantry moth traps and I received them on July 14, 2025… I put one over on the side of my stove (I only use the left side of my stovetop, and I have the other side with a tempered glass cutting board and my utensil holder sitting on it). So I install this trap on the side between the stove/utensil holder and my toaster on July 14… It is now July 17 and OMG! I didn't even know that I actually had pantry moths and look at what it caught! This trap is awesome! Now this might be connected or it could be a coincidence but thankfully, I have not seen any of those little beetles all day today. (Fingers crossed that they're gone). The only thing I can think that might have attracted these is my trash in the kitchen, but I don't know. So even if you don't think that you have any type of pantry bugs, you should get this and put this behind your stove, in the pantry, or wherever you have food and if you don't have any bugs appear on the traps that's great but just know these traps definitely work if you have them because this is proof in my pictures. I am amazed! And the last pic is after a month... wow! I will definitely keep using these.
