A couple years ago I realized that pre-planning it is such a wonderful gift to give loved ones either behind so I purchased a urn for my cremains. It was from a different company and although it looked really nice, I noticed after about a year of sitting up on my shelf that the paint was flaking off. One day while I came across this horse urn and was immediately impressed because I am a horse person. One of the black horses on this urn reminds me of my beloved horse Duchess who was my companion many years ago. This urn is glazed and is not going to flake, ever. The running horse design goes all the way around it and the lid also has horses on. I say anyone who loves horses and is kind enough to look ahead and make things a bit easier on whoever will have to deal with their cremains , go ahead and buy this. It's just beautiful and breathtaking and I can't say enough good about it. So, the next time someone says you can't take it with you, you can truthfully tell them, oh yes I will.

This beautiful urn arrived and it was heavy, sturdy and high quality. The wild horse design was perfect for the Celebration of Life for our Mom who was a huge horse fan. I’m so glad I could buy it directly instead of through the higher price of the mortuary.

Had a little bit of a paint smell you'll need to let it air.The lid is a bit hard to take off and replace. It is beautiful with the picture as it shows actually much nicer looking than they show It was the perfect size and is quiet lovely on the end table.

This Urn was to be a final resting place for a Family member and Horses were his favorite past time But the Picture of Horses on the Urn was sent very blurry and not crisp like i was expecting I never heard back anything from seller which was even worse. Thanks for the disappointment.
