Fit my 2024 Ram (new style) 1500 perfectly. Easy install in just a few minutes.

I thought the hole in the bumper, of my 2022 RAM Bighorn, was for a ball. I thought this was weird, but after some research, I discovered these RAMs have a class III bumper-hitch. You just need to mount the receiver (this item) under the bumper. Everything was straight forward and simple. Took me 20 minutes to mount. The only iffy thing is that you’ll need a 1/2” hex-bit socket and a torque wrench that goes up to 320 ft-lbs. My largest torque wrench only goes to 250 ft-lbs. So, I did everything I could and brought it over to a mechanic buddy to torque the main bolt to the required 320 ft-lbs. So far, I’ve pulled 2 cargo trailers ~ 2000 and 3000 lbs and a vehicle transport with an old D150 on it ~ 5000 lbs. No issues, everything worked fine.

Works great on my 2024 ram 1500. Easy to install, took me about 10 minutes. If you don't already have a reciever it works very well. My truck only came with a hole for a ball and this made it so I could put my own hitch in without worrying about the trailer being too high or screwing up my bumper
