Gingher 01-005275 Knife Edge Applique Scissors 6 Inch

Gingher proves to again be the best scissors I've ever owned. I'm sewing a lot of face masks right now, and I was worried that any small threads not clipped cleanly might irritate people's faces. Usually, I have to snip carefully and several times to get a cut close to the fabric without accidentally cutting into the fabric. These duck bill scissors are perfect! They cut cleanly to the edge of the fabric like no other scissors I've ever used before! My sewing looks so much more professional than I ever thought possible! These scissors are perfect for their purpose. They are comfortable, easy to use, and like my other Gingher scissors, are significantly sharper than any other scissors I own. I can't think of one complaint! I wish I'd bought these years ago!!

I love the scissors for doing Trapunto work. I only wish the company would make the handles (where the fingers go in) a cushion type surface. I have small hands but even with small hands I cannot use these scissors very long without imprinted red marks on my fingers, accompanied with pain. I tried wearing gloves but there was not enough room for fingers and glove. They were not cheap scissors. I think the manufacturer should do a recall and replace all the duckbill scissors to their customers as a free exchange. This is not asking for much. I know a redesign would take little effort. But mean SO VERY MUCH TO QUILTERS SND SEAMSTRESSES. PROS: The scissors are great, sharp, easy to maneuver for a small amount of time and definitely an asset for anyone working with trapunto. With the economy as bad as it is, many people are resorting to hobbies to occupy their time. Given the fact the unemployment is so high, food lines for miles, income severely impaired don’t you think you could afford an exchange program? For that matter the scissors you receive during the exchange could be refurbished using a more ergonomic process

I saw someone use these on a video and thought, what a wonderful tool for my sewing room. I received them for Christmas and love them! So handy to trim up seams or applicaes nicely. without risking accidentally cutting into your fabric. They are nice and sharp, fit my hand well too.

Excellent scissors; very sharp. Mistakenly thought they would prevent me from cutting a hole in my fabric. Unfortunately they don't make up for being tired.

I was concerned I wasn't going to get the right scissors because there are pictures of two different kind of scissors in it. They were the duck bill scissors that I needed and they are in great condition and very sharp. Shipping was fast and no problems with packaging.

What can I say, Ginger scissors at a great price. And this model is great for preventing mistakes when you have yo “cut it close”. Use for trimming the back from applique( (cuts down on extra layers). Also use when trimming in the hoop machine embroidery applique. Use whenever you want to prevent accidental snip errors.

These are the most incredible scissors I’ve ever used. I bought this pair and also the double curved pair. I’ve just started embroidery machine applique, and couldn’t seem to find scissors that would leave a nice clean edge close to the sewing. I have some arthritis in the joints of my fingers, and these are such comfortable scissors to use. They are large enough for me to use comfortably and so well balanced. Incredible bargain at any price, but especially through Amazon, at least $10 cheaper than anywhere else. Just be sure to get the Fulfilled by Amazon products.

Was soll ich sagen......ähm schreiben? Wer Gingher Scheren kennt kauft keine andere. Ich liebe diese Scheren. Und der Preis hier ist mehr als fair. Dauerte etwas länger aber ein Original aus Amerika. Einfach super.

Grata sorpresa la tijera llegó muy rápido y bien protejida al usarla se siente muy cómoda en los dedos las orejas de la tijera tienen un tamaño y forma adecuadas y cortan muy bien porque tienen el filo adecuado y su punta de “pato” protege la tela que no deseas cortar , también su peso es adecuado no te cansan al usarlas.

Excellent outil

Bought these scissor to sculpt the wool in my hooked rug. They work amazingly well. They are sharp and can trim large or small amounts of wool. Would not hesitate to recommend them.
