I use this light for roughly an hour per night for reading in bed after my husband goes to sleep and it has worked better than I even hoped and last months so far. The light has four settings that is cycles through with each push of the power button. Amber light dim, amber light bright, white light dim, white light bright. I read on the amber light dim setting and it's plenty bright enough to read by. To turn it off when done you just hold the power button, next time you turn it on it will come back on in whatever setting you turned it off in. I've used this light on overly large hardcover books all the way down to thin mass market paperbacks and it's worked just fine regardless. On a hardcover I can put the clip over just the book cover itself, on a paperback I put it over some pages also so it gets a good grip. It has never dented any of my pages or covers, but neither does it fall off on me while I'm reading, so I consider it perfect. It can clip to either the left or right side of the book and the 'head' with the light also swivels back and forth so you can point it at either side if you desire but the light spread is wide enough to illuminate both at once so you don't need to touch it or make adjustments while reading. I usually just use the swivel to adjust the light away from my husband as much as possible. Like I said above I use it about an hour per night and the light will usually last about 8-9 days before the battery runs out, so I just charge it once a week and never have an issue. When the battery starts to die the light will fade over the course of 30-60 minutes, so even if I forget to charge what usually happens is I'm reading along, notice the light is fading, keep reading anytime to get to a convenient 'stop spot', turn the light up to the bright mode if I'm really desperate to keep going so I can eek out a few more minutes, and then finally give up and go to sleep. While I typically plug it in when I wake up in the morning so it's ready at night, I have found that if I do a quick charge of 10-15 minutes that's long enough to buy me a night's reading time in a pinch. I've carried this in my purse and in a backpack and traveled with it including camping and using it on planes. It's very lightweight and has not broken riding around in my bags. In summary, great light, everything I want including cheap!

Nice and easy to use, light and has good lighting. I bought this little reading light for my Bible. I love that you can tilt the tip of the light and you can adjust the type of tint you wish to read with while using. I use regular. Fits any pouch and even your pencil case. Love and for the price you cannot go wrong. This light reader has a usb and great for portable travels/camping. I will see how long it will last because I read a lot at night. I read a lot of books at night and needed something compact and reliable. Overall, I do like this reading light. It holds a charge long enough for me to read for a couple of days at a time. This is where the four stars come in, as I do wish the battery lasted a bit longer. I do not read on full brightness and usually choose the yellow light option because it is easier on my eyes. With my usage, I find myself needing to recharge it every four to five days. On the positive side, it does recharge quickly, so as long as I remember to plug it in, it is ready to go for nighttime reading. I also like that the light is adjustable and can be positioned comfortably without being awkward. For the price and overall value, this is a solid reading light and works well for my needs.

This is perfect for any type of low light reading. Easy to clip on any book or magazine in Bible. It is bright enough to clearly see what you are trying to read. It is easy to recharge. Very well made it has a rotating head. You can angle the life in any direction you need to comfortably read in low life conditions. It is the perfect size for clipping onto your book.

Awesome book light! Why haven't I gotten this one ages ago? It easily hooks onto the back cover of all my books, then I can angle the light so it's not in my eyes and only over the page. It has four light settings, two amber, two regular. The USB charging is so convenient, I just hook it up to my laptop every week and charge it up. I need to buy this for all my friends!

Dislike that the light is white and not amber and only 2 not 4 levels of brightness. Like that the light swivels and sits on the book well. It isn't what I paid for.
