Dual Voltage 110-240V
The device seems well-made, and the lights show the process it goes through to test the battery. I live in the U.S. but needed a 24/7 battery charger for our car overseas, as I couldn’t find any battery tender-like devices in that country. I’ll be using this with a UK type G adapter and 220V. It’s surprising to find a dual-voltage battery tender, especially here in the U.S. I haven't tested it with any kind of electronics meter but this appears to be better made than the actual Battery Tender devices I already have.

Excellent product.
I have owned an Optimate 4 for several years to charge motorcycle batteries and it still performs excellent. So, I bought this Optimate 7 for charging car or truck batteries. It works just as good as the 4, but I found that the LED indicators are not as intuitive as the 4 (it does not have the 3 charging level indicators which gives you an idea of the charging duty cycle). I also found that when the charger indicates the battery is fully charged, I would call it a "minimal" full charge. Good enough to start a car, but not at the maximum of what the battery could charge to.

Good Charger
Bought this specifically for use on a depleted 2 yr old lead-acid battery. This charger appears to have brought that battery back to fully functional condition. Can't say if any older design charger could have done the same. With sky-rocketing prices on common lead-acid batteries, it is good having a charger you can (or want to) trust. Bought this based on good experiences with previous purchase of LiFePO4 charger from same company.

Can’t go wrong.
You can’t go wrong with any of the optimate chargers. The optimate 7 is a quick charger and it diagnoses the battery state and what kind of charge it needs for longevity of the battery.
