Spiced are the way to go
I had the olive oil tin first, was pretty disappointed, the texture was dry, scaly and the spine was very gritty. The spiced in olive oil however made up for that first tin. It was delicious and very clove forward. It was on the scaly side but I was very pleased with it at the price point.

The unexpected fish
Not what I expected for the price. The sardines were tasty but somehow a little dry to me. Yes they are packed in sauce.
