No loose adapters to loose, very sturdy built..limited sizes so read carefully

Because the jaws on these leave a gap if the terminal and cable are not precisely matched to the crimp cavity, the tool can leave a squeezed-out lip on both sides after crimping. They have enough clamping pressure to securely form the sleeve onto the cable as long as there's a nest of a useful size for the crimp you need, but some combinations of terminal barrel and cable may not work as well as others. For the price, it's a good tool, but you'll probably find that it won't be the only one you need.

This is an excellent tool and top shelf in every respect. The quality is superb and unbeatable for the price. If you need this type of tool, this is the one to get.

They are solidly built crimpers, but don’t give a uniform crimp... they let the part facing away at the end of the crimp kind of slide outta the crimp making it hard to, then, insert the end into your terminal or lug or whatever you’re connecting your wire to. Other than that, which’s kind of important, they’re solidly built!

Nice heavy duty crimping tool.

Good high quality tool at a value price. You don’t need to buy a more expensive tool if you are just crimping occasionally. I crimped stranded copper 6 awg about two dozen terminals and had no issue.
