How many ear plugs can be made from one box?

For sleeping, the plugs will be too big if you use all the material for 2 plugs. Although good for blocking sound, the plugs will be way to big for comfortable sleep. Plus, the material seemed to protrude a long way into the ear canal and is uncomfortable when you sleep on your side. Next time around I mixed only 1/4 of the material and also first shoved a small plug of cotton wool fairly deep into my ear canal. During the molding of the earpiece, I flattened my ear forward against my head and pushed on the outside of the ear to push the material completely flat against the opening of my ear. That seemed to do the trick, resulting in comfortable plugs that I can sleep on.

What is it feel like when it has been cured? Is it soft like memory foam, or harden?

It is not soft like memory foam. Its a bit more stiff and less flexible, and the surface is very smooth.

Can these be used for light sleepers? I ned to block out the sound of my roommates who like to stay up late.

I would say go ahead and try it. I use mine for swimming. However, when someone wants to talk to me at the pool I need to take them out to here so they do block out some sound. Whether or not it would stop enough sound for you requires you to give them a try. I would.
