Is it best to hang the X20 (and others) as high as possible for the best Wifi coverage?

In theory higher is better but I doubt it makes much difference for the average home ..... unless you have a bunch of obstruction or are trying to go a very long way the radiation pattern is probably a cone-like shape so you could have some transmission blocking or running into the floor maybe, but you also spray into the space above.

Will the XE75 Pro fit the wall mount?

Yes, it'll fit - just careful on the weight aspect. The XE75 is taller (and heavier). I have the X60, handles it fine. The XE75 is only 55mm higher, technically... so should be fine though. It's quite a sturdy wall mount (subject to securing it nice and tight to the wall with the screws)

Can I still see the lights

Yes, definitely. the light is on the bottom of the deco's. The wall mount platform has the deco resting on it. Also note, the wall mount is see-through. so even if the wall mount was high up, you'd see the lights through the plastic See video attached

Will this work for a deco X4300?

Yes it will, but the X4300 comes with: 1× 2.5 Gbps port & 2× Gigabit Ports So, you'd need to account for 4 cables (including power) being able to fit through the cable gap in the plastic wall mount holder at the back... I don't see it being a problem though, I fit mine with 2x ethernet cables with ease + power (X60 which is the AX5400) and still have plenty room to add more cables
