This belt is awesome! I was a bit worried after watching a negative review on YouTube that complained about the quality of a Toro Bravo lever belt, specifically that the leather was flimsy, and the construction of the lever system was cheap. He recommended the Inzer lever belt, which is 30-50 bucks more expensive than the Toro. I'm not sure what Toro belt that dude had, because the leather I received was stiff and well constructed, and the lever system is solid. It arrived well packaged, and the leather was rolled in the box, which is convenient since it arrived already broken in. I didn't even have to adjust the lever and the belt fit me perfectly out of the box. I'm 6'3, 225lbs, short torso (interestingly have the leg length of someone who is 6'6"), pants waist is 36," but my waist around my belly button is greater than 36" so I ordered the large. I train powerlifting, which I've done for about a year now, but I've deadlifted, benched and back squatted for 15 years. It's amazing how much better a belt like this is for bracing than the cheap velcro belt I had used for years. The velcro belt probably did little more than keep my back and tummy warm. This belt is as comfortable as you would expect it would be. I mean you are cinching it tight around your stomach. WARNING: May cause involuntary farting. I made the mistake (well I viewed it as more of a bonus) of trying this on for the first time in front of my wife and ripped a huge fart when I pulled the lever down. So you may want to try it on with some discretion, or wait until you want to do some crop dusting.

Perfect belt for powerlifting
I am a competitive power lifter (242lbs best comp lifts 738 squat, 463 bench and 689 deadlift) I can see why this is the highest rated belt on amazon now. -The lever is very well made. -The material is very stiff, but not overly stiff. The 10mm is perfect. 13mm is just too much and really gets in my way. This was main reason i chose this over the SBD belt. -37-47 is a great range. I'm right in the middle right now, and its good to know I can drop or gain weight and it'll be ok. This was main reason I picked this over the Inzer. I'd been using separate belts for squats and dead lifts the past couple years, a 13mm single prong for squats and 10mm lever for deads. This belt works better for on each respective lift better than either of my prior belts. It is freaking amazing and I love it. Also functionally, it works better too. I hit a 710lbs and 725lbs dead lift with it this weekend.

Significant difference in performance on first use
Just got back from the gym, and finally understand and felt what bracing your abdominals with air should feel like. My belly has a bit of fat around it so my old double prong Valeo was starting to bug me with all the fiddling I had to do to get it on and off. I saw a lever action being used by some strongmen on Bodybuildingrev and knew I had to get one. First use, I normally can get one or two reps with 275 raw or with my old belt, with this one I did 3 sets of 5. Not that I'm saying the belt is some king of magic, there's lots of belts out there that can give good support whether lever or pronged. This is just one of them. Really looking forward to deadlift days now. Good thick belt, not too stiff, lever works smoothly and belt is very secure when in place. Very Comfortable for my body type. I'm 5 11", 200lbs, longer torso, 36" waist. Helps that the belt came adjusted perfectly to my waist so no adjustment needed.

Outstanding belt for the price!
This is my first lever action belt, and it is outstanding. I think it is important to know that unless you are sharing with someone who is basically your exact size, you cannot easily share this belt. You adjust the size by moving the entire lever assembly, which might sound intimidating but only requires you to take off two large screws and put them back on in the new position. Adjustment takes less than two minutes, but you don't want to be disassembling this thing between every set. Very, very secure fastening system, and strong, stiff but comfortable leather. A lot of people don't know that you're supposed to put your belt around the thickest part of your waist, not right next to your hips. This knowledge will save you from painful deep squats. I do not know how this will last over the years compared to an EliteFTS belt, but the price of this belt is excellent and it appears to be built to last. I won't really be able to say much on durability for another 5-8 years, so don't hold your breath waiting for the review update :)

Unlike any other
Best lifting belt I have ever worn. It felt absolutely amazing. The belt itself felt and looked extremely sturdy as well. You will need a screwdriver to adjust the size however. The lever buckle felt extremely solid and sturdy, and I doubt this thing will break in years. When I put this thing on and did a few squats, I couldn't even feel the pain in my back (due to a possible herniated disk). Just wow. Shipped a few minutes after ordering, and came in half the time it takes for other items to ship.

Great belt, but make sure they fit your body
I really like this belt. Great quality for the money. You will need a screw driver to adjust it, keep that in mind! Just make sure it fits your body properly! By this I mean make sure you have enough distance between your ribs and your hip bone. I'm quite short torso'd and I lean forward a fair amount when squatting and my lower rib popped during squats because the hip bone pushed the belt into the rib! For deadlifts it's been fine so far, but I will likely have to get a shorter belt for my squats (maybe 3" or 2.5"x 4" tapered).

Husband approved!
I bought this lifting belt for my Husband. He looked at many different ones and read like 500 million reviews on weight lifting sites. He decided on this one and loves it. It is very heavy duty and sturdy. He uses it for deadlifts and back squats. He is very happy with it!
