This battery kit is very easy to use and sure beats having to put AA batteries in the remote. For the price it pays for itself in a short time if you use the wii much. Just make sure you buy the Nyko battery charger. I bought this as a replacement for one of my batteries that disappeared after the kids had some friends over. Works great and I recommend it.

Good product it works well and fits in the charge station I already had. I did not get the color I requested. I requested blue but it came in black.

Fist I would like to say that I have been using this type of item for a while now. Only one battery has ever gone bad for me and it was after a year of used. I notice some people have said that the batteries go bad after a month or two, but I would have to disagree with those people. This is the fourth time I have bought this type of batteries. I recommend buying them.A better option is to buy the charger first because it comes with two of this batteries. I recommend that you charge the batteries as soon as you get them don't used them prior to charging them. After your first complete charge let the battery run out completely before you charge it again. Again I only had problem with one battery so maybe I was lucky with all four batteries that I have own.

I got the Nyko twin pack battery/charger plus one extra battery, since we have 3 kids and 3 Wii remotes.Pros:* Charging dock has built-in AC supply, so no clunky wall wart adapter to find a home for - just plug the dock into a convenient AC socket.* Dock doesn't get warm (either while or while not charging batteries) which is unusual for cheap consumer electronic devices.* Battery and cover are a perfect fit into the Wii remote.* Comes with NiMH batteries (rather than the cheaper NiCd) so they should last a long time despite not being given 'good charging etiquette'.* Looks like the designer put a proper charging circuit in, since the LEDs on the front go blue for 'charging' and green for 'finished'. I hate it when batteries are left roasting indefinitely.Cons:* Would have been nice if the supplied battery covers were of a different color - helps kids to know which are remotes 1, 2 and 3 before grabbing them. This is a constant source of squabbling in our house. There is a pecking order to who gets controller #1.* There is no slot on the dock for the Wii remote strap to exit. You have to hold it awkwardly to the side while clicking the remote into the dock. This makes the charging contacts only just make contact. Any slight move and the remote stops charging. Tweeny kids are not very good at doing this.

I have been using these rechargeable batteries since I first got my wii. They are a great product if you remember that they are rechargeable batteries and as such will eventually lose their effectiveness. I got my first three in 2008 and am still using them with no noticeable difference, but I don't use my wii every day, or even every week. I don't charge them until I notice they are flashing on the home screen and I take them of the charger when the light turns green. I recently got a fourth charger, so I needed more batteries and the new ones work just as well as the old ones, even when playing Zelda for 5 hrs straight there was still a 2 bar charge.With the issue of spare batteries, the solution is simple. Fully charge the battery, and then take it out of the wiimote! You the have a fully charged replacement without having to not use the wiimote. Yes, you do need the wiimote to charge the battery, but no one plays for 24 hrs straight, so this is easily accomplished while you are sleeping.I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a sensible alternative to going through batteries like they're candy.

I tried for a full month to get these batteries to work in my Nyko WiiMotes. They charged just fine, but I never once got them to work once they were in the remote. Flat out horrible. I have never been so embarrassed in my life, as I bought 4 of these for my kids for Christmas, and had to send them back.

First off I should let you guys know that I own 6 of these. Yes thats right 6. I had to buy 2 replacments for batteries. I originaly purchases these and the charge station back in 08. Currenlty it's year 11. Only 1 battery has managed to survive. If you don't use the batteries fairly offen they just go stale. The only one left that still works for me is the P1 conroller battery. Here are some Pros & ConsCons*Colors are random.*Some batteries don't live as long as others.*Must recharge frequenlty. (or prior to gameplay)*Have to move it around on the charger to get charge to take.*If not used offen batteries that get removed after playing are cheaper. (I use doller store batteries in mine now)Pros*If used offen saves money on batteries.*Adds a collored back strip to your controller to help distinguish your controllers from friends.*Charge simply by putting on charger.

For function, this rates 4 stars: good alternative to batteries and the coloured back helps to keep track of which remote is which.Have used this type of battery pack daily for over three years before needing new ones.
