Will this add lasting (at least 24 hours) mostiure/oil to hair that is naturally dry?

I can only speak from my experience and I do not have naturally dry hair per say. I do know that I have used Wildroot for over 45 years and I also used it on my son's hair when they were younger. I never have found that I had to re-apply during the day because of hair dryness. I would recommend Wildroot as a very good product to use on a daily basis. I don't think you will be disappointed in this product. I hope this helps.

Very slight smell but not offensive

No. My hair is on the dry side and I was hoping this would help but it only made it drier.
