Use this book frequently in my college Early Childhood courses. Contains lots of very useful information regarding developing children. Has chapters for each year, beginning at birth all the way to the elementary years, with breakdowns of appropriate practices and "what to expects." Highly recommend for Early Childhood teachers and caregivers. Great research-based information with suggestions. Corresponds with NAEYC articles on NAEYC website.

I love this book. I use it for my Bachelor's level course textbook. It is very convenient and provides examples throughout the book. It is also a great tool to use as a source of research about early education.

I was a little nervous before I ordered this book for school back in February because many were claiming that the disk wasn’t included as listed but mine actually came with it and it was very new and not used at all! totally recommend ordering it off Amazon rather than your local bookstore

The book was in better condition then I thought just took a couple of days longer to get here then expected but overall they kept me updated and the book is great even came with the disk.

Great book for those working with young children. DAP is important, and NAEYC does an excellent job of explaining both why it's important and what it looks like in practice.
