Love this shirt!
This shirt is so worth the price! It's a great base layer for cold days and it is also great to be worn all by itself. It is fitted. I love the raglan style sleeve. The shirt is a great weight, the fabric is nice and thick so it is not see through at all. This is the 2nd one I purchased. If you are tall with a long torso it may be a bit short. I'm 5'3" and I think it is the perfect length for me. It hits right at the hips. I thought it was a solid light grey/purple color, but it has a marbled pattern which i actually like better. It is odor resistant, you can wear it for days. I'm 5'3", about 140 and I got a medium which fits perfectly. My normal size is medium or large. I do not put it in the dryer.

Beautiful, classy and quality top
Smartwool is my preference, when affordable. This top was barely affordable but well worth the price. The quality of Smartwool can't be beat. The color is quite beautiful and my favorite. I love the fit - it is contoured for a slight shape but not fitted. Years ago, I received a dark gray Smartwool top that has been washed/dried for many years (I was ignorant about wool care). I used it for sleeping until I realized how nice it is. I went to Amazon to see if I could find another top. I found this! I will watch for less expensive Smartwool tops on Amazon- they are the best! Also - the customer can pick from various wool weights - I determined that 150 is quite thin but ultimately keeps you warm enough. The 250 and 320 weights feel and are thicker but never feel too warm.

Some of the best thermals out there
Despite the obnoxious price I keep investing in these thermals. I do a lot of activities outdoors, wear these for work and play and house chores and just in general daily life, and they still look like the first day I got each of them. Including my first one which I've now had over a decade. They launder beautifully NO MATTER how you launder them, don't pill or snag, don't lose their shape over time including the neckline, seem to only get softer over time, and yes of course are SO warm 😊 Another thing I really appreciate is the comfort of wearing them: the fabric has just enough "grab" to really stay put when you're layering it over your bottoms. This means I can raise my arms up all I want and don't have to adjust or pull down the shirt. At all. They don't ride up. They stay right where you put them. I freaking love this. Ok maybe the price is not SO obnoxious 🤷♀️ About 5'7" , bust 33", waist 26, hip 37, I use XS when I want/need a form-fitting top, and S when I want it longer down my hips or more roomy. Hope this helps!

Superior quality
Classic Smartwool. Temperature regulation and keeps you comfortable regardless of the weather. You can wear several times without washing or getting stinky. Definitely worth the price.

Beautiful Quality
This is another example of you get what you pay for. Smartwool Merino wool is a little pricey, but it's worth the splurge. The fabric is thick enough to be truly warm and not cling to every imperfection. It's soft against my skin and honestly, I prefer it to a lot of today's cashmere. I'm 5'8" with long arms and the sleeves and body length are generous without being sloppy. Although I'm typically a medium, I opted for a size large. A tidge roomy through my chest, but the looser fit allows me to wear it alone as a sweater and not strictly as a base layer.

tight fitting
extremely fitted and had spandex, so it did not keep me as warm as expected. I'm 5'2 and 112 pounds and bought a small. I typically wear a small or extra small. sleeves and length were plenty long.

Fantastic.Worth the money.
I already own several SmartWool shirts and purchased this one after seeing this print. It’s beautiful in person with very rich colors. It’s a nice change from my other neutral colored shirts. I wore this hiking in the mountains for three days with weather ranging from cold, rain, sleet to just cold and gale force winds. I stayed warm and comfortable the entire time. It feels soft against my skin and I love that the sleeves are long enough for me. I did size up for a looser fit. I even had another hiker compliment me about it due to the lovely pattern. I would highly recommend buying.
