This book has some lovely embroidery patterns to make some sweet patchwork projects. I have another book by Gail Pan and have made almost all the projects in that book and plan to do the same with this book. The patterns are easy enough for a beginner and challenging enough for a more experienced person.

I love it. I haven't had a chance to make any of the projects. But I will absolutely be making more than 1 if not all of the projects.

I love this wonderful book! Hand-embroidery is so much fun, and this author has wonderful projects with delightful, whimsical designs, perfect for gift-giving. This is a definite favorite!

This book contains an excellent range of mix-and-match patterns, with a great variation of projects from simple gift tags, through to cushions and quilts. The instructions are clear and concise, supported by lovely illustrations and photographs. There are a few pages of general instructions at the back, but a basic knowledge of back-stitch redwork and sewing is inferred so maybe this is not for the absolute beginner. However, most of the projects are straight-forward and should be easily achievable for anyone with a basic level of experience. I can see myself using the stitchery patterns in many different ways, so I am very pleased with this addition to my collection.

This is a lovely book full of real 'Christmasy' ideas and patterns, the instructions are clear and easy to follow, I am working on a cushion cover at the minute and because the embroidery panels are small it can be picked up and worked on at any time. I recommend this book to anyone who loves sewing craft.

Love this book. Such easy makes. Did one and carried on with more. Easy instructions for all aspects of items made. Beautiful heirlooms . Easy patterns to teach the kids too. Can't praise this book enough.
