2 Missing Lamps from a Pack of 10 ordered !
BEWARE .... Bought as a pack of 10 but only received 2 packs of 4 in each box, in a sealed bag saying "This is a set - Do Not Separate" (already opened & replacing when i realised the the quantity was not correct) unable to get anywhere with Amazons automated options so emailed Acorn direct .... still no answer after 4 days.... very disappointing service !

good bright light
The lights are good and bright. But one bulb has a flicker. I have written to the company and they have offered me a refund.

Works well, but some fail quickly
These are good bulbs when they work, but several have failed after only a few months. Some also seem to flicker, and I don't think this is a problem with my wiring, because other bulbs work well. Overall, these are a good price, but expect to have to change some of them relatively quickly.

These bulbs are first class
I thought I'd have to rewire my 10 low voltage bulbs in the kitchen's 50w downlighters to 240 volt to go over to LED. Not so, these really are a plug and play replacement and use the stated minimal amount of energy. As long as they last ok, I will be converting another 10 downlighters in our 3 bathrooms.

Not as good as I had hoped
The description was warm white, but actually the white is closer to cool white.I bought two packs of 10. I have tried 14 bulbs of which 3 either buzz and/or flicker, which can be quite annoying. It can give you a headache, and I can see why some strobe lighting can be irritating and potentially dangerous for people who are vulnerable to epilepsy.In comparison, I bought some Philips bulbs with GU10 fittings, which were warm white and no flicker or buzz noises.Buyers beware.

The ones that worked were good
Two didn’t work when they arrived and they were the only two not taped together with the other bulbs. I let the business know and they refunded me the two which is fair enough but personally a slightly empty gesture considering it was a great packing fault of theirs. The other bulbs are perfectly fine but I won’t purchase from this business again

Excellent - very bright white light
Pleased with these bulbs. They give a bright, clean white light.Description is a little confusing - first stating they're a 40W equivalent but further down say they replace a 50W halogen. No matter, I'd say they're far brighter than both.Also weigh far less than the old LEDs that were in the units.Hope they last as long as the originals.
