Only drawback, the ring tone is exactly the same as the back Door bell !!!!

This alarm was easy to set up, has a choice of 58 melodies and works perfectly from a bedroom downstairs to one upstairs. My elderly mother and I both feel confident that, should she need me during the night, she will be able to attract my attention. We just have to remember to check the batteries in both the receiver (rechargeable) and the transmitter regularly. The battery in the transmitter is already installed, and the cable to charge the battery in the receiver is provided, but not the plug. One slight gripe - the translation of the instructions into English leaves a little to be desired.

The devise works in the same room, it even works in the next room but beyond that it does not. I presumed that it should work anywhere around the house but with invalid upstairs and receiver down stairs no contact. It does not exceed the normal shouting range of the invalid. The little bell that the invalid has works much better. Can not recommend this product in any way as protection for a loved one that might need occasional from a slightly distant helper. A total waste of money!!!

Happy with this alarm bell. Easy to use by elderly, clear red button to press if needed.The ringer unit is loud enough to be heard around the house. Few too many “sounds” to choose from, but easy to select, and if it was used as a doorbell I suppose you may want extra tunes.

This is a very good buy. It works straight out of the box and the "Ding Dong" sound works well. A small charging cable is supplied for he receiver and this can be used on a laptop. It works well out in the garden or in the house and the receiver is a convenient size to fit in a pocket. An excellent choice.

Unfortunately not needed when arrived,was the best value I found with good specs.
