Worked Great!
This stand works great for the specific set up I was working with. I do not have full height speakers. I have a portable, (but powerful), small "pill" desk top indoor/outdoor speaker that I connect to my projector. I have to set up the projector behind my couch to fit the screen in front of me. However, when I would connect the speaker in the same location, I did not like the sound behind me. This stand allows me to put it in front of me next to where my image is projecting or wherever I choose without having to go find a desk or drag over a table. Even though this stand was probably not designed for my type of speaker, I was able to use the adjustable holder where you place the speaker, to expand to the length I needed. If you plan to permanently attach them, there are adhesive stickers you can place within the holder to attach to your speaker. I placed the sticky padding in there for cushion only, but I did not take the top paper off exposing the adhesive, as I do not want to permanently adhere my portable speaker; instead I bought velcro strips to adhere the speaker, allowing me to remove it when needed. I love that the height is adjustable and when not in use I can just collapse it to the lowest height and store in a corner. Also, even though I only needed 1 I love that 2 came in the pack so if I do feel the need to get a full size speaker set or another small portable speaker to sync with my existing one, I'll have it. I just keep in dismantled in the box. I will add that my "pill" speaker is small - it weighs only about 3 lbs, well within the 11lbs weight requirement, but the stand base is very stable. The pieces have a good amount of weight to them and doesn’t sway. I am really happy with this purchase and I recommend this product.

A little wobbly
I have my Adam Audio 7" monitors on these. When I started to set them up in my studio I was pretty doubtful about the build quality. These dudes are not heavy duty at all. The Adams are probably as heavy as you should put on them and even then just put them where they are going to go and don't handle them a lot.The instructions are sparse but get the job done. However one thing they didn't make super clear is that you have to tighten the screw in the "cup" before being able to check for level. Once the speaker is stuck to the adhesive and you've screwed the stand to the speaker - don't skip that step - if you haven't tightened it securely the top will wobble. So we wound up putting the speaker upside down on the table and attaching the stand that way. Using a post level like for fence posts we could get it in the right place and secure before finalizing the screwing in process. It will greatly help to have a second person to hold the thing down to the speaker while the other one screws it on. Definitely do this with the stand up in the air while working on the bottom of the speaker.Still and all, once in place, they are holding up okay.

Decent design but bad quality assurance
I bought these based on the overall 4+ star review rating. With that average from nearly 7,000 reviews, my experience might not be typical. It’s possible I received a defective set. But after my experience with them, there’s no way I’d get another set.Problems:Feet for bottom of stand. The feet were WAY too tight to screw in; had to use pliers to install them. Not sure why the feet needed to be threaded at all since they are also secured by an acorn nut.Feeding speaker wire. I followed the directions and adjusted the length of the upper pole section and then threaded on the lower section. The directions show to feed the wire from the top down. I tried several times. No luck. Finally separated the sections and tried that. Nope; the wire kept getting blocked by the upper pole. I collapsed the upper pole and was finally able to get the wire routed from the bottom up.Attaching speaker bracket to stand. The bolt to attach the speaker bracket would not thread into the pole. I tried both of the supplied bolts and neither worked. Then I did a word search for “thread” in the reviews and found others with the same problem. By this time I was frustrated and wanted to pack everything up and send it back. But I went to my stock of nuts and bolts hoping to find a metric (probably) bolt to fit. The directions do a good job of naming the parts, but they don’t say what size the bolts are. I had no luck finding a bolt that worked. Since I couldn’t secure the speaker bracket to the upper pole, the stand itself was useless. I decided to pack it all up and send it back.
