Are these filters compatible with Laurastar Lift?

These granules are for the Pulse and S series models. For Lift, you want the anti-scale water filter cartridge (vendor # 502.7800.525). On the packaging, it says "So Pure".

This anti-scale granules allows you to filter tap water before it is used for ironing. By preventing limescale, it prolongs the life of your iron. By filtering salts, it improves steam quality. It is Anti-corrosive and helps prevent damage to boiler components. Anti-scale granules should be replaced when they turn completely brown. Use with Laurastar integrated ironing systems and for all other irons use the special Filter Pot (Part #301.7830.898).

Does this work with the Laurastar Smart U system?

Yes, this can be used with the Laurastar SMART U system. However, you will have to remove the cartridge holder to use this type of anti-scale filter. The cartridges can be found on the manufacturer's website or if you call their office at 1-800-428-2804, Mon-Fri 8am-5pm PST.

Are these similar to the aqua refills?

Yes. These used to be called Anti-Scale Aqua Refills.
