Will this handle 120v at roughly 1-2 amps?

If current rating is provided for DC voltage, you can be assured it will handle at least that much current in an AC circuit. DC ratings are usually lower than AC due to arcing across the contacts when the switch is turned off. AC doesn't arc nearly as much because the voltage crosses 0V 120 times/sec. (in the US). Most "normal" switches are good to around 250V AC before you need to worry about dielectric breakdown of the switch itself.

Are these available with a spring loaded switch?

Yes those are called momentary switches

What is the maximum panel thickness these can be mounted into?

In case anyone is wondering, the minimum panel thickness is ~2.25mm, but you can file the small tongue inside the switch cover base to get it lower.

The indicator light doesn't come on

as you know there is no indicator light on this switch, i assume that your supplying power to a device that has one. you have wired the switch so that it breaks the positive wire ? what are you trying supply power to, automotive? i have had internal failures with switch's in the past, does your device work before you installed the switch? if yes, then suspect the switch, if no, your device or your wiring is suspect. till i hear from good luck......Ted
