OOLY, Six Click Gel Pen (132-045)

This pen is perfect. The colors are vibrant, and each color writes as smoothly as a fine fountain pen. I organize notes using color, so this is so convenient compared ro carrying multiple pens. There is a small plastic or wax seal in each tip that needs to be removed before writing. It only takes your fingernail. I saw a video review showing the pen not writing and suspect the seals had not been removed. This is a great product.

I'm very impressed by this pen. I've purchased many other multipens and multicolor gel pens set, and I keep coming back to this pen. It checks the box for me in several ways. The 0.7 nibs are essentially medium nib lines for a gel pen, which I prefer. In fact, I'm not aware of any other multipens that have 0.7 gel nibs. The writing is very smooth, comparable to Energel mediums. The colors are also impressively vibrant. As a professional I suppose I'd like it if Ooly made the same pen with "boring" colors like dark blue, black, and dark green, but I'm amazed at the quality for the price.

This may be my favorite multi-color pen that I’ve ever used, and I’ve been using them for decades for journaling. I love the 6 colors. It writes silky-smoothly. The click mechanism is the best quality I’ve used - effortless and no sticking. It’s a fat pen, so it takes some time to get used to, but I eventually got used to it without a problem. My only problem with it is that, because it’s a gel pen instead of a ball point, it runs out of ink very quickly and only lasts 1/3 - 1/2 as long as a ball point. I was amazed at how quickly it runs out of ink. So it turns out to be a very expensive option for journaling, but if you’re just using it for to-do lists, calendars, or that sort of thing where you’re not writing a lot, this is a great option.

The girls (5 and 8) really loved it. Its a lot of fun and good quality. Glides smoothly and the colors are bright.
