安価で高温で使えるシンプルな半田ごてとして選びました。 用途はこて先を交換して、プラスチックの溶接に使うために購入。付属のこて先（本来のはんだ付け用）の軸径は約6mmでこて先はビスで固定します。用意したプラ溶接用のこて先の軸径は5mm（軸長約40mm）でした。付属のこて先より1mm細いですがビスで固定出来ませんのでしたので、別途軸径にあったビスを用意する必要があります（ビスの長さ足りず細身のこて先は固定できない。メーカーの用意しているはんだ付け交換用こて先なら付属のビスで問題なし）。
