Simple and yet powerful
Network is a dark art and yet Fujitsu seem to have mastered it with this product. There is no reviews I could find of this product online but considering that it was way cheaper than the next competitor and considering that Fujitsu manufactures extremely good quality products I decided to give it a go.There isn't a manual with it, just a small paper asking you to download the App on your phone. Setting was relatively easy though. The app connects via Bluetooth and guides you through the process. It failed for me at first but after rebooting my "Modem" (Virgin Media) it connected immediately. In terms of settings it has all you expect from a Router (ability to change IP address, DHCP config, Port Forwarding, remote access, UPnP etc.).The only downside I could find is that the WIFI setting by default is "Force 5Ghz" that caused issues with clients to connect to the WIFI. Changed it to "Band Balance" and all is working fine.It says on paper it covers 3,000 square feet, I seriously doubt that (at least not in an old building made of bricks and thick walls) but it is largely sufficient for my 1,600 square feet house, so cannot complain. On the positive side I'm able to change settings on the router and it saves and apply changes with no need for a reboot (which keeps my users at home blissfully unaware of my tinkering).I'm really surprised that no serious reviews exist yet on this Mesh router (the name choice is not the wisest though) and In my opinion it will score as one of the best as it is easy to configure, packed in with loads of functionalities and good looking. One of the other Downside is that it has only one LAN port so if you have cables you will need to invest in a small switch (like on the picture). That is also the same lack of feature existing with most Mesh Routers on the market.Bonus if you want to reduce your reliance on Google (and its data analytics) this product may well be for you.All in all I would recommend this Messhu RT500 product. I bought this to improve my network reliability and avoid the occasional reboot. So I will revisit this review in a month or two to detail how it is doing on this front.December edit: 82 days online and not a single issue, no drop of connection. Brilliant product it does the job

Oh how I wished this had worked!
Let's get one thing straight. You are only looking at this product because you have a problem with your wi-fi. Either you want to control the users (clients) or you want to boost the signal throughout your house and improve stability.I wanted both. Greedy I know. Two people forced to work from home, from a terraced 3 storey Victorian house, using TEAMS, and three teenagers streaming Netflix and playing Fornite doesn't work when the only broadband service available to you is snail speed, and not that reliable at that.My first venture into mesh came with the Amplifi Instant Home Mesh WiFi System. This promised connection in minutes - wrong. Never managed to set it up and returned. See my separate review. Thank goodness for Amazon on that one.My second venture was this, the Fujistu MESH system Always had a soft spot for Fujistu after having fond memories of an old laptop! Set up was fairly straightforward. App basic but suited my needs. Boxes, black, a bit bulky, but hey, I can live with that. Just hide them away as long as they work. Right from the start I should have known that there was something wrong. Performance did NOT improve. Why would it? I have rubbish broadband. If you have rubbish and fly tip it around your house, it's still rubbish. In fact the problems got worse. Conversations on TEAMS turned into stuccato and that was with everybody's camera off. The app is in fact useless. Turning clients off is problematic. You think you have turned one thing off, when it is in fact something else. Moving between boxes doesn't appear seamless. The poor internet radio didn't know what hit it. If I had to connect it once I did it ten times, before it would connect. So today project MESH was abandoned. Back to the single router in the bowels of the house and shouting of kids to get off their devices! An all together £80 cheaper option, and certainly less stressful. Moral of the story is that if what you have is rubbish, then this isn't going to improve things. Roll on super fast broadband in my area please!

Poor, expensive and unreliable
I had to return this product because of persistent problems with this solution, and have instead opted to go for the Zyxel Multy Plus mesh WiFi solution. Whilst more expensive this alternative product has delivered far superior results, but which are more expensive and also come with their own limitations.PROS- Good physical build quality- Attractive, discreet design- Small physical foot print- Can be used in both router and AP mode- Advanced user functionality and customisation (i.e. flexibility around IP address ranges) for IT 'tweakers'- Keen price point per unit- Responsive support and helpfulCONS- Poor WiFi coverage and speeds- Unreliable app regularly says that AP's are offline when they are not- AP's lose connectivity several times a day (flashing red light of death)- Need several access points to make a genuine whole house solution - resulting in an expensive overall solution- No VPN client in router mode- Crashed my LAN and my router during set-up when attempting to adjust IP address ranges- Seller struggles to deliver support in the UK (despite genuine best efforts) citing 'cross border' restrictions- Personal cloud drive feature great idea in principle, but execution is poor and clunky- Pity really wanted these to workLastly a special mention to Amazon who stepped in an allowed me to return these items for a refund, which in turn partially subsidised the purchased of the alternative Zyxel solution.

Set up within minutes
For its price this looks like a high quality product. It was set up within minutes and I now indeed have coverage across all 3 floors of my house (G 1 2). What is weird is that coverage/speedwise the two units seem to perform much better when I have them both on the ground floor (with high speeds even on the second floor) as opposed to having one on the ground floor and one on the first. To me that means that a no major wall connection between the units is more important than a no major wall connection between your whatever device and a unit.. 4 stars and not 5 because I am not getting the promised speeds, my computer on ethernet gets 380 mbps but the maximum speed fujitsu gets (even on ethernet with their in-app speedtest) is around 160 mbps.

Inexpensive and fast
I must say I'm pleasantly surprised with the Fujitsu Messhu after taking a risk after not seeing any reviews online for the product apart from on Amazon. However it was well worth the risk as it was all setup within 15 minutes or so by following the instructions on the app and it has given me full signal connectivity across a 4 bedroom house. Extremely happy with the cost considering is is well over £100 less than its peers for the x2 unit system. Second unit was very easy to set up too. This has totally replaced my old router and wifi extender system I had set up. The instructions in the app are fairly straightforward, I had a small issue where I had connected both ends of the ethernet cable to the WAN ports instead of LAN on the router and WAN on the Fujitsu Messhu but that was 100% user error. Very happy.
