This product worked very quickly and eliminated some stubborn slime algae that had been smothering everything in one of my freshwater tanks. It started clearing up the slime within minutes of being dosed, which was incredible. Fish were unharmed. It was a dark-brownish slime variety, though, and don't know if it would work against the more typical blue-green slime.
