Litter box
The litter box was great. But the steps were a little bent inward. Tried to push them back out but they just popped back. So since it was just a small spot, I just continued to use it. Assembly was easy. Worth the money. Very sturdy.

Works great
My cat flings letter everywhere, so this covered box take care of that problem. So thankful I found this. It was very reasonably priced and works if you have a kitty like mine! ^_^

Large cat owners!
Nice for large cat! My cat weighs 18 pounds, he can fit all the way and turn around with no problem. The dog can lift the lid as there are no latches on the side. Much of the litter stays on the ridges going into the box. Probably the best litter box I've owned.

Kitty easily adjusted
Happy Kitty and that makes me happy. Took right to using it. If you didn’t want to use as a litter box, could certainly be used as a little hideout. But for litter control, the steps with the raised edge at the base catches most stray pieces. Have no issues with leaks anywhere, the base is fairly high. I do use a litter trapping rug on the outside and have to say I basically have stopped getting litter on my feet.WIN!!

Best litter box so far.
Backstory: 4 decades of owning cats has led to many, many searches for the best litter boxes. Before this one, I had 3 pans out: a small basic pan for a kitten, a sifting one that used pine pellets, and a very large box with 3 high sides. Unfortunately, I have a digger, and all my cats seem to like to fly out of the pans at full velocity. I seriously think they have a secret contest to see who can scatter the litter the furthest and with pans being near my shower, litter was always in the shower, on the floor, even outside the room. The boyfriend was out of patience and I went searching for low scatter litter boxes. I found this one. It seemed like the right fit but wasn't sure I wanted to spend $70 on yet another type of litter box but I kept going back to it.Finally, one color was reduced to $45 and I finally gave in.REVIEW: I've only been using it a few weeks. It is already worth it just from less b!@#$ ING from my boyfriend about litter on the floor and in the shower. Don't get me wrong, there is still small amounts of litter on my floor but those steps combined with an extra large mat SIGNIFICANTLY reduce the litter tracked out and reduces how far it flies because they can't just take a flying leap.I'm not crazy about the shape. The outside looks so weird but that is not a concern to me. I don't, however, like the kidney shape inside. I think the thought process was no square corners, no stuck poop in the corners but I assure you my cats find a way to get to narrowed edges and with rectangular scoops, it's a bit of an awkward angle to scoop. This is well worth the tradeoff of not having litter in my shower every single day.As you'll read in other reviews, yes it has a large footprint but my previous litter box was oversized too. Yes, it does well containing litter scatter. The lid doesn't snap or lock into place (which could be a potential problem if you have a large dog who is determined to get a snack -- though the design should keep them from casually walking by and grabbing a bite) but for me the lid not having to be locked down just makes it easier for me to remove for cleaning.Summary/TLDR: If you're looking for a litter box to reduce scatter, this is the best I've found so far.

Great Idea, But Not Sturdy Construction
Three stars instead of five because the dome is flimsy enough for a playful kitten to ambush our larger cats, causing the dome to fall on the unsuspecting victim. The box is a fantastic idea keeping dogs out from snacking, but the flimsy dome offsets all the positives. I would buy another if the dome were sturdier.

Highly Recommend
My cats love this and started using it immediately without any hesitation. I bought a 2nd to have one upstairs & the other downstairs.

The concept is great BUT the design is TERRIBLE!
I purchased 2 of these about a month ago now. I wanted to "class up" and disguise our litter boxes a bit. Plus, my daughter recently got a pup who is a "turd burglar" and would even go into our enclosed boxes with privacy doors to sneak a nasty snack! I figured that with the steps curvature and the placement of the pan this would be the PERFECT solution to all of the problems that are associated with litter boxes in MULTIPLE cat homes, such as the never ending supply of unsightly and stinky fresh poops and the repulsiveness of a friendly pup bringing a snack to your lap only to drop a plup ass loaf onto your pillow! I was super excited when they finally arrived in the mail and I pulled them out of their boxes by their "built in handles" only to discover that the dome and pan pieces were TAPED together to form the illusion that they.... hmmmm.... I don't know.... stay in place, securely attach to one another, snap together, twist together, or possibly even here's a crazy thought LATCH together in some way, shape, or form! That was rather discouraging when I realized that the dome just rests on top of the base. I almost returned them at that moment because I could foresee these issues arising from the start. Sure enough .... Cat scratches inside the box; LID FALLS OFF! Cat rubs on the outside of the box; LID FALLS OFF! Cat jumps on top of box; LID FALLS OFF! Cat turns around halfway up the stairs (apparently lost the urge to go... hate it when that happens); LID FALLS OFF! Puppers wants a "cat pie" snacky-poo; LID FALLS OFF!THE LID IS OFF MORE OFTEN THAN ON! What am I supposed to do to make these nearly $40 dollar (don't forget now I have 2 of them so nearly $80) pieces of dysfunctional dome-shaped plastic? Should I, tape the pieces together like they were in their boxes (as well as apparently on every display I EVER saw because lifting of displays at various stores, the lids NEVER came off) seems pretty deceptive if you want my opinion.... Anyway, should I tape them together? Hmmm..... NOPE! I scoop EVERY box in my house TWICE a day! I'm not going to mess with removing tape and replacing tape twice a day!!! Should I bungee cord or ratchet strap the lids on? Ummm... also a NOPE! Although those options would be easier than tape, It would look super tacky and completely defeat the purpose of me getting these nice, almost decorative, looking boxes! Well I mean they would look nice if the LID STAYED ON! Instead: me, my family, and any guests are often looking at what looks like a Barbie sized pool full of litter and turds!SO.....my question here is.... how do I alleviate the issue of the lid falling of dozens of times a day without causing an eyesore or a bunch of, what should be, unnecessary added steps and added frustration?!?!?THE LAST NOTE IS THE MOST ANNOYING TO ME! The attached picture is of the product "features" section for this product. It says, QUOTE," Built in handle makes MOVING and cleaning easy"Who even wrote that? You should absolutely remove that "feature" from the listings! Completely 100% false that it makes MOVING easy! THE LID DOES NOT ATTACH! If you lift up on the "built in handle" all that happens is THE LID COMES OFF! If there happens to be something, like a piece of litter, lodged in there holding the two pieces temporarily together.... welp, then.... you lift up the lid, the base comes with it, then the base suddenly releases, and flips litter that contains cat urine and feces all over the area where the box resides!!! Ugh..... so disgusting that this company intentionally misleads it's customers! I was wondering why I couldn't find an owner's manual for this before I bought it! Oh yeah.... that because there are no movable parts, no connection points, and the pieces aren't meant to STAY TOGETHER!
