haven't personally tested it to it's maximum, but it's rated up to 440lbs.

How do I get it to display the weight? So frustrating.

Tap it with your foot first, then step on it and wait a few seconds until the weight is displayed: it will stay on for a few seconds after you step down.

Hi - I am sorry but i don't know. I would suggest retrieving the model # and then search for a parts list based on the model# to get a part#. You can then search for the part # or contact the vendor.
