If you're looking for the best value on quality prenatal DHA and EPA, this has been my go-to for years. Cool fact: While omegas won't DIRECTLY impact mood and mood swings. BUT! I pregnant woman's brain can shrink up to 1/6th of it's size from DHA & EPA depletion (for use in your growing baby). Thusly leading to brain-fog, and frustration with slightly reduced cognitive capabilities. So if won't directly help with mood swings, but it can help your brain function more typically so you're more equipped to navigate stress and cope.

Fairly small and easy to swallow on the days I feel sick. They do not have any taste or smell, which is perfect in my first trimester

Being a doctor and having my wife pregnant with our first boy made me take a deep look at all the prenatal supplements available. I recently purchased my third and fourth boxes of this fish oils pills. First of all, regarding some other reviewers who say that it gives them fishy burps... my wife tells me that it just isn't true, at least not for her. She keeps her pills at room temperature, and unless you have a bad case of reflux I doubt these pills would give you a hard time. Second, these are pharmaceutical grade and they are lab produced so they dont have any heavy metals or other trace elements that could affect normal fetal development. I strongly recommend these fish capsules as a prenatal supplement complementing a vitamin and mineral supplement.

Many people have told me I should take DHA vitamins of some sort to help the babies brain development, especially in the first few months of pregnancy. I decided to try these vitamins after doing some research and reading several great reviews for the product. I have been using this product for over a month along with my Rainbow Light One a Day Prenatal vitamin, and vitamin D to prepare for pregnancy in the near future. I take two of these vitamins after a light breakfast. So far I have had no stomach problems, or really any problems, taking these vitamins. They do have a slight fishy smell, but that is something that has never bothered me.

Love this DHA supplement. I am pretty sensitive to that fishy after taste with fish oils. If I take this one with food I have zero after taste and even on an empty stomach its rare that it is noticeable. Was able to take this through most of my first trimester even with a lot of nausea (just took it right before bed).
