Does this leak easily?

I invite you to go to o e of my favorite YouTube channels “Joe Robinet” he has been using these for the past year, last year he spent 254 days outside camping Kayaking, and hiking. These are in my opinion the best on the market. No they do not leak. Just replace the O ring as you replace filters and you’ll be fine, I personally always take a back up when I’m out for more than two days, but have never had any problems.

How small does it fold down to?

Can you purchase the 1L softflask by itself? Mine got punctured.

Can i screw the filter on another water bottle?

The Katadyn BeFree filter can fit on any 42mm threaded bottle. Hydrapak's 750ml Stash, or any of their Seeker flasks are a good example.
