Merida #1: Chasing Magic (Disney Princess) (A Stepping Stone Book(TM))

I was hesitant when I saw this. Even after reading a preview I wasn’t sold. But got it anyway as daughter loves Merida. Was a cute story and it actually stood on its own.

My almost 7 year old granddaughter loves to read and these Disney Princess related chapter books are great.

My daughter really is enjoying these books! Easy read for the summer :)

Very enjoyable original story based on the characters from the movie.

I love Merida! Her bravery, her quirks of archery! Seeing her find a friend who shares her interests was so fun. The best part for me was that lifelong relationship does not always mean an arranged marriage. Merida's parents spoke of a lifelong relationship in the sense of her friendship with Cat, and that was beautiful. So many people only think of marriage as lifelong relationships but friendship is also one! I felt that it was humbling to see Merida trust her gut and have confidence. Great lessons for anyone to understand.

My niece loved this book!

Bought this set for a very good 11 year old reader. Usual problems for me is she reads her books- very quick, then it's a while until read again, especially as so easy for her to read these. (Expensive for something read in an hour or two, then left.) However, with these, she's had about a month and still keeps re-reading and still telling me, " i'm glad you bought these for me." A happy Merida fan, and a mum who doesn't feel like she's wasted any money!
